I am writing this review because of the exceptional experience I had with Doug Cohen. I was facing three charges of sexual exploitation of a child on the internet and one charge of internet luring. Each carried 2-6 years to life in prison and a minimum of ten years probation. I ended up pleading to... one count of attempted internet sexual exploitation and received a 2 year probation sentence. Doug was incredibly knowledgeable of the law, was a very good thinker on his feet in Court, and knew all of the other players in the prosecutor's office and Court. These factors were instrumental in the outcome. In addition, Doug always treated me with the utmost respect and dignity throughout the process. He was also a very straight shooter in regards to what I could reasonably hope for. I would recommend him for any criminal defense matter you might be facing.
