I am in school and just finished my prerequisites for a health care program. I had an interest in nursing, respiratory therapy and occupational therapy. I... was concerned about something on my criminal record from years ago and needed to make sure that I would be able to obtain future licensing. I knew that all three fields had their own boards and that each one had different rules and regulations regarding licensing. I wasn't sure which direction I should take. I needed answers fast because I wanted to start applying for programs. The couple of attorneys that I spoke to before Mr. Weitz wouldn't even speak to me without scheduling a consultation. While there were successive hurdles, no action was taken on my medical license and more importantly there were issues with how my profile was represented and he confidently addressed these issues and rectified this in an extremely favorable outcome. Take your time and do your research before you hire counsel but do not make the mistake of trying to navigate this on your own because you will have too much at stake to try to take a chance with your career. Without his advice and expertise, I can only state that the outcome would have been very different and can retrospectively indicate that if he can assist me, he undoubtedly will be able to do the same with your case.

Mr. Tim Weitz is a unique, fantastic find among attorneys. From his first email, it was clear that he saw me as an individual, that he worked on my case as if for a personal friend. However, along with this he brought the most upstanding professionalism as well. He was always organized and prepared, ...as you might expect from someone with his thirty years of relevant experience. We even went to the site where the hearing would be held the day before, which was only one of a dozen ways in which he prepared me for the occasion (a few of which I won't list here, as they may be trade secrets!). Words could never express how grateful I am for having such an compassionate and driven lawyer working diligently on my case. When I called Mr. Weitz, I was petrified of having to renew my medical license knowing several hurdles that I had to overcome. Onc...e I read the numerous reviews, I searched no further and gave him a call. More specifically, what caught my attention was his familiarity with the nuances of the Texas Medical Board as he had previously worked there. When I reached out to speak with him, he called me the same day and we set up a time to talk and given the complexity of my case he provided a clear pathway and gave feedback of what the options were going to be. This based on his expertise, professionalism, and character were readily evident from the beginning and even when I met with him in person there was always a genuine and concerted effort to provide honest feedback on how to proceed. My case never seemed rushed and he was more than thorough and diligent with his efforts and he always communicated well throughout the process. I can assure you one of my regrets was not retaining counsel when I should have but quickly learned that from learning from prior mistakes it is always best to hire the best because the consequences can be daunting.
