Overall, he did a great job. He was state appointed, but honestly did the job of a well paid attorney. I do have one minor issue though. He just didn't communicate enough with me, with regards to the progression of the case. Maybe i was an exception to his normal. That said, going back to the fir...st thing i said, he did a wonderful job with my case. It was honestly a case that shouldn't have been a case, with some bs charges that made me temporarily question the whole "until proven guilty". Ended up being dismissed, after many resets. Like a bajillion resets. To no fault of Mr Hopke, though.

Mr.Hopke got appointed to my case but he made time for all my calls and text messages. He understood that i need my case dismissed i had so much to lose. Attorney Hopke stayed by my side almost over 2 yrs of my court date being reset over & over again. This was the first criminal charge I have ever had to face in my life ever. I just didn’t want to go to jail for a mistake I made & be away from my children. He is a very pleasant & professional person ...to talk to. Such a great attorney. He helped me with. DWI case I was having serious hard time in fighting on my own. I was being charged without having ever received tickets or a court date of any kind. Kurt went in and won this case for me. He was able to find so many discrepancies in my case that I, for obvio...us reason, would not have been able to find on my own. He found that these tickets I supposedly received in January 2013 weren't even filed until may 2013. That's just one of the many mistakes that were made. All in all I'm very happy and recommend him to anyone that might, for unfortunate reasons, need a great criminal defense attorney.
