Got arrested for boating while intoxicated on Lake Conroe.I refused the breath and blood test. Police got a warrant to draw my blood. Lucky for me it took about 4 1/2 hours to get the warrant. By then my blood alcohol content was below the .08 percent but it was close 062. Doug and the assistant dist...rict attorney fought it out. District attorney said an expert witness could prove I was over the limit at the time of arrest. Doug talked them into just sending the blood back to the lab to see if there was any drug in my system. Case got dismissed. Doug appeared to know most everybody in the courtroom. He was joking with all the assistant district attorneys and the judge even acknowledged him. Doug did a great job and I would recommend him to anybody needing an attorney in Montgomery County
