FDA employee true account by VAChung

I had run through at least 20 different firms when trying to find representation for my federal case involving the FDA...and it was so disheartening I had to do this after 21 years of service to that agency at the time...to say it was exhausting and discouraging was an understatement. I found Aaron ...and his firm after three weeks of searching the internet and calling different firms, who charged ridiculous and outrageous amounts of money for representation...I had reached my wit's end before I found Aaron and his firm. I spoke to him and his staff and started the ball rolling for my case. They worked with me regarding fees and payment, went over the relevant issues, and looked at all scenarios to negotiate a settlement and help me to move from my area to get out from under that mgnt line...the mngt was pacified when they saw I hired this firm and for while they left me alone... I was shocked and surprised that they had attorneys who represented federal employees in their cases...Aaron kept it real and Andrew Young who was representing me at the time, also did. They provided expertise and possible outcomes and worked with me and tried their best to mediate and finally go to EEOC court regarding my issues...it was a long process and I had to keep my documentation in order and fight for myself as well as they, but I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...IT FELT LIKE I WAS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE AND MY CAREER DEALING WITH THIS FEDERAL AGENCY AND ITS CORRUPT MANAGEMENT LINE...AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT AARON AND ANDREW'S HELP...I am happier now as I have moved from the previous mngt line and their branch and Aaron and Andrew had negotiated a settlement agreement with the FDA for my restitution...but again I COULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...fighting the govt is exhausting, disheartening, full of pitfalls and dishonest mgnt people and can make you question your life's purpose, but I am grateful to have found this firm and its attorneys...this is a true account and someday I will write a book about my struggles and those who helped me.

OPM. Disability retirement reconsideration- Air Traffic Control

If you are applying for a federal disability retirement hire a lawyer from the start, preferably this lawyer. The OPM process seems cut and dry but there are things you need to know before you submit your package. My son had to apply for a reconsideration because he was not aware of those things. We...rsing provided a free consultation and it was apparent from the start he knew the OPM process and ATC disability in particular. He knew from the onset why the application was denied and what was need for it to get approved., specifically statements from the attending physicians that addressed the mandatory prerequisites for approval. I asked about the chance for approval and he said he wouldn’t take the case if he didn’t think it would be approved. So we hired him. There are time lines you have to be aware of also. We needed an extension and the letter from OPM stated the request had to be submitted in 30 days but it didn’t say 30 days from date of letter or that it had to be received (not post marked) within 30-days. As anticipated my son’s retirement was approved. Wersing did post-approval follow up to ensure we new the next steps in the OPM process.

FERS DISABILITY

After being removed from the Postal Service after 30 + years, I reached out to numerous law firms specializing in Federal Employment Law. Aaron Wersing personally replied to my inquiry expediently and scheduled a free consultation. I found Aaron to be exceedingly knowledgeable, very personable and ge...nuinely empathetic to my situation. After agreeing to retain The Federal Employment Law Firm of Aaron Wersing for an extremely reasonable fee, Aaron and his incredible team took over. He and his team created a plan and course of action all the while exhibiting compassion for my cause and communicating with me throughout the judication of my case. Because of Aaron Wersing and his firm I attained a FERS DISABILITY RETIREMENT! God bless Aaron Wersing and his incredible law firm!

I made a poor choice.

I hired Wersing because of his FERS experience. I paid a $5000.00 Retainer. Next, he could not understand my case and charged me to explain it to him. After that, he charged me to prepare Interrogatories and never filed a Motion to Compel after OPM ignored them. So I was charged for negligence. ...Then I get an email from another attorney claiming Wersing transferred my case to her. I terminated Wersing and only got back $1,370.00 of my $5000.00 Retainer.

A lawyer’s duty to keep client confidences has few exceptions and as such I do not feel at liberty to respond in a point-by-point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that this post does not present a fair and accurate picture of the events.
