I had a bad experience in Ciudad Juarez. I came back to US and went witht this lawyer to see if I could get a second opinion, and I felt insulted after my appointment with her. The last thing I wanted to hear is somebody to tell me I should move to my spouses home country or that Cancun is a fun plac...e to live. This lawyer thinks its so easy to get up and leave and move to a different country like nothing. I have to think whats best for my kids. I’m a mother and I don’t just think about me I think about my kids first. All I needed was a yes or no answer if the case was able to move forward.

Its been a long journey ( one whole decade,) and being in removal proceedings, I have had the experience of working with several different attorneys/firms along the way. I got replies within minutes of sending an email somewhere at the end of my day. Which told me her day had not ended. I was a little nervous when I found that Ruby won't be dealing with my case directly. However, after meeting Jose Aponte in person, my fears were totally alleviated. My husband and I left there feeling he will do his best. And that is all we wanted. I knew there weren't any guarantees in immigration court, but regardless of the outcome that day, I knew I was in good hands. Went for my biometrics appt and they asked me for my marriage license. I didn't have it with me I called my lawyer and Cristina which she is amazing, immediately emailed a copy to me and didn't have to get rescheduled. They will always respond to your emails right away and always keep you on the loop.... I definitely recommend them.

My husband just got back Monday from his interview in Guatemala. He was only there for 2 weeks and that was exactly what the office had said from the beginning. He was approved and now we can finally move forward onto the next step in our life. We are sooo thankful for Ruby and everything the office ...has done for us.
