DON'T GET THIS LAWYER!!
I hired mr. Matinez on a case that I had for a dwi 3 felony. From the beginning I knew something was wrong. He didn't talk to me. Didn't ask me about myself nor about the case. Always on the run. I have had a couple of lawyer in the past and saw good reviews on mr. Martinez so I hired him. But this ...
I DO NOT THINK YOU WERE A CLIENT OF MINE! First, I am deeply disappointed that you feel that this way about your lawyer but this does not represent the work that I do. I have an open door policy for all my clients. We routinely schedule multiple appointments for clients at no additional charge. In fact, my clients receive my personal cell phone upon hiring me. Moreover, we ask all of our clients to provide a timeline of the events. Second, we have a portal system that allows clients to see all their evidence and communicate with me and my law firm remotely. Third, we respect the decisions our clients make, but I would have discussed any concerns you had beforehand. I would appreciate if you would call me to discuss what occurred because the spelling of my name, your version of events and lack of communication strongly suggest that you did not hire me. If you choose not to contact me I wish the best for you! While it is difficult to respond to an anonymous post like yours I will try to clear up some things for the public. As I clearly state to anyone that contacts me, a person that is convicted of a DWI 3rd Offender is REQUIRED BY LAW to do 10 days in jail even if I get probation for them. A person charged with a 3rd DWI is facing 2-10 years in prison. While the post states that they received the minimum PROBATION sentence it seems like they wanted a misdemeanor conviction that would require more than the 10 days in jail, that the probation requires. It is very difficult to get a 3rd DWI reduced to a misdemeanor. Also, every case is unique, but it is common knowledge that those in jail tend to misrepresent to their fellow inmates what they actually received. I will continue to be an advocate for anyone I represent while being honest and forthright concerning their specific situation.

DWI case what not handled as expected.
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE SELECTING THIS PRACTICE......My experience using this law practice was one of the worst choices I've ever made besides the DWI I nearly received. I ended up having to release his practice from my case and hire another one in place of Herman Martinez after I found out he was ...
Responding to anonymous reviews like yours are difficult because not only are they highly offensive and untruthful but because the review is anonymous we are unable to understand who you are and therefore cannot respond directly regarding your case. Thus, it is highly likely YOU WERE NOT A CLIENT OF MARTINEZ LAW! Moreover, we CANNOT remember a client that left our practice to another firm as you have described. Also, our firm’s practice and procedures prevent these scenarios from occurring Nevertheless, I am going to take the time to explain our law firm procedures because we value our reputation and diligently work hard on behalf of our clients to obtain the most beneficial outcome for them. It is also essential that any future client knows what to expect from our law firm. First, my clients are provided a personal portal for their case. The portal is immediately created when a client hires our law firm. The portal allows them to have a virtual file to see it whenever they have the time. It also allows them to comment, communicate with us regarding any postings that are made. Immediately upon hiring us DPS is contacted by our law firm to alert them that we are requesting a hearing to prevent your license from being suspended. This request is posted in the portal as evidence for the client to rest assured that we are doing everything possible to prevent their license from being suspended. Any subsequent related items regarding their license such as the hearing date is posted in the portal and the client is electronically notified that they have it pending for their review. Second, the client receives instructions regarding the court procedures so they know what to expect because we understand that this is a stressful experience for most people. Third, every client that hires the firm receives my personal cellphone number to contact me. I am actively engaged with my clients. For example, an emergency arose for a client this past Sunday night where I was able to attentively handle the situation for them. Therefore, it is apparent that if a client wants to reach me I will make myself available to them. Fourth, when any evidence like the DWI video is posted in the portal the client is notified so they can review it at their leisure, discuss it with us before making any decisions. Additionally, we thoroughly explain all the options to our clients. We encourage our clients to make an appointment to come into the office if needed. There is no additional charges for these meetings. Thus, your review does not accurately reflect the work we do here at Martinez Law. I personally guarantee that anyone that does their research, talks to us, and hires us will experience the highest quality of service at our practice.

DO NOT HIRE HIM
We hired Herman Martinez for a very simple first time offense. He met with us only once, gave us horrible advice on how to move forward with our case, and turned in a sloppy file to the DA. We got a horrible outcome and the offense went on the record. Herman works in bulk volume of clients. He does...
It is always unfortunate when someone writes an anonymous review like this because I meet with ALL my clients an unlimited of times to discuss their case or any other issues that may arise during my defense of them. It pains me to read that someone thinks I did not care about them or the outcome of their case. I care about all my client’s that is the reason every one of my client receives my personal cell phone number so I can be reached by phone or text outside of business hours. If I am unavailable when they attempt to contact me I promptly reply once I am available. I take great pride in defending my clients as well as making sure that they understand the process. If there is an issue with a client I can assure you that I would do everything within my power to resolve the issue. I invite whoever posted this pseudo review to contact me to discuss why they feel this way. As defense attorneys we do not turn in files to the DA’s file. What actually happens is that the DA provides us with their file. When it comes to providing assistance to my clients regarding their Pretrial Intervention packets we routinely go over the required paperwork, provide suggestions, provide samples to assist the client. Regrettably, we can not get every case dismissed. Lastly, the personal attention we give each client does not allow us to do cases in “bulk.”
