NOT REALLY A DEFENSE !!!!!!

I can't speak for the entire firm, however, the lawyer from this firm may as well have been a court reporter, as his skills primarily entail what everyone else is saying or doing. Why would I say this? Because my brother, after 6 months of incarceration, was basically only represented by me. There w...ere mistakes made and when it was pointed out to the lawyer, his response was ...yeah I guess you are right, but took no actions to help. The reason that was his response is that per his words, that he had not looked at anything but the items of discovery. They may be okay for a will dispute or even some type of plea deal but not anything that would entail actual legal work. They have a portal to update you and to make it appear as though they have contact. but since his incarceration, my brother has had a total of 5 visits and one .. he wasn't even aware of where he was located... mighty fine lawyer (note the sarcasm!) I am not objectifying the skills as a family lawyer ... but for any kind of defense ... you would do better with the prosecuting attorney representing you. The lawyer will not proceed with any requests that you make, only after you submit a written request, and then his only argument is with you as a client, not as any type of defense. No Way would I recommend this firm for a defense -

Disappointed and taken advantage of

I hired this firm 1 week before Covid as a federal attorney for my son. The firm didn't get a chance to work on my son's behalf. The state decided without any influence from the firm to drop my case. The juvenile supervisor contacted me after informing the firm that the state decided my case was not... a felony 5-21-20. Firm never contacted me. 3 days later I began to call firm and was given run around for 2 weeks and was even sent a bill through mail which I never received before for remainaming balance of my payment $500 of $4000. I continue calling firm personnel stated they knew nothing about case being dismissed and never talked to personnel at juvenile facility. Finally a few days went by and I called firm with juvenile personnel on line. Firm personnel began giving me run around again until juvenile personnel stated she was on phone. Then I began to receive excuses like this is only our second juvenile case. Tired of hearing excuses juvenile personnel began to tell firm personnel how to confirm state decided to dismiss case on there own. (Case was reduced to misdemeanor) I began to inquire getting my money back for paying a felony lawyer for a misdemeanor case. I was told Mr. Pritchard would contact me no response since. My contract states non refundable if case is lost, but dosen't state non- refundable if state decided to drop the case. I paid for a felony lawyer and didn't have a felony case, and law firm didn't get my case reduced, because this was only the second juvenile case firm had handled and didn't know what to do until told by juvenile personnel. I'm disappointed and feel I have been taking advantage of. I am a single mother working 2 jobs while going to school and the firm knows this, but still decided treat me with no regard. Out of frustration the firm personnel stated to me that the way they see it I still owe them $500 for June even though my case was dismissed May 21. Even though I never needed a felony lawyer they took my money and never audit it like they said they would, and never made an attempt to return my money back to me. Is this the representation you want to represent you. They took an oath to uphold the law and not break or bend to their satisfaction. I'm also reporting to BBV to ensure no one else is taking advantage of.

Brett's compassion outside the courtroom and expertise inside the courtroom are superb!

Brett Pritchard is a bright, intelligent, talented and dedicated attorney. In our sensitive CPS case involving a Motion For Modification regarding child custody, Mr. Pritchard completely focused on pursuing the best outcome for the child while providing the highest level of service. His compass...ion outside the courtroom and his skills and expertise inside the courtroom were superb. I highly recommend him!

Long Awaited Justice

What can I say about Brett H. Pritchard other than that he is a true ambassador of justice! There are lawyers & there are crooks who pretend to be lawyers. Brett however, is a brilliant attorney. Check this out. For the past 5 years I have been involved in a custody WAR with the miserably poor excuse... for a mother of my 10 year old twins. We lived in PA when it all first started. Ive had to fight with her at every single turn & corner just to be a father to our kids. She is the absolute epitamy of alienation & neglect. She STOLE my kids from me & moved to Texas behind my back. From PA, I hired a dirt bag crook of a lawyer(who shall remain nameless), who had a standard visitation order drawn up on my behalf. Something I could have done myself through family court! Shortly thereafter I moved to Texas chasing after my twins. Since that time I presented this piece of crap lawyer with a plethora of evidence to show how she was nothing but a detriment to these children...& he did NOTHING about it in the 5 years for which I had him retained. Nothing about how each child failed a grade in elementary school while under her primary conservatorship...or how she blatantly neglected their hygiene, appearance & academics...or how she was married to a registered sexual offender...or how she would repeatedly refuse to let me see the kids! I grew sick & tired of his uselessness & fired him for ineffective counsel. I then retained Bretts services. Mr Pritchard won me full custody of my twins with me still owing him part of what we agreed upon. More impressively, he did in less than 2 months what my former crook of a lawyer wouldn't do in 5 YEARS. Brett Pritchard & his staff ultimately helped save the lives of my children & for that I am eternally grateful & thankful to Mr Pritchard & his staff.

Staunch, steadfast, passionate, smart, knowledgeable, dependable, practical, effective...HIRE HIM!!

My review is long but, it is real and earnest. Brett has been my attorney for 15+ years and has never let me down. He first represented me in a warranty case against Peterbilt. Initially I was concerned Brett was not on top of the case as he was hard to reach prior to court but, in the court room ...he argued the case expediently and victoriously. I have learned great attorneys ARE difficult to reach. If they are doing their job, they are in court ALOT. I would not want an attorney in my corner that was always available; I would wonder why they were not working! Brett has represented my family on cases ranging from traffic violations to a child custody case (my son achieved sole custody of my grandson thanks to Brett). Brett is also a man of character. Two examples, demonstrating Brett's integrity follow: One of my sons had made unproductive life choices and found himself facing charges. As a repeat offender and an adult he could not afford an attorney so he was appointed one by the court. I was deeply concerned about the consequences my son was facing. Still, I was hesitant to continue enabling my son by hiring Brett to ensure a lighter sentence. Brett clarified the options first approaching the subject as an attorney explaining what kind of deal he could accomplish. Next, he tackled the subject as a parent, fully supportive of my desire to exercise tough love allowing my son to face his choices and effectively grow from them. We decided that my son would proceed with the court appointed attorney. On the day off court, I was surprised to see Brett walk in the door. He came over to me and explained what we should expect and what would be a fair sentence. Brett told me, before any offer was accepted I should allow him to review it to ensure it was fair. His service was offered without compensation out off his passion for justice and dedication to his clients. Though tough to swallow my son’s sentence was fair. Numerous times I consulted Brett while my son was incarcerated. Each time, he was compassionate but straightforward and always a valuable resource setting my thoughts straight. He suggested good reads to educate me, console me, and prepare me for my son's future. I am pleased to say that my son walks a new road in his life. He is a productive member of society earning an honest living and is building family of his own; I could not be more pleased and value Brett’s contribution. When I first shared the news about my son's transformation, Brett was on the list of people who received the update along with family. I was anxious to share with Brett because I know him to be a dedicated father and I knew he would genuinely share the excitement with me. He stated, “This is why I do what I do”. Alone, this should speak volumes about who Brett is. The second example of Brett’s character was one in which I was subpoenaed to appear in court as a witness. My stomach sank when I learned the opposing attorney was Brett as he is a superior attorney with a track record of slam dunking his cases. I was unsure how it would work out for me as a witness testifying against his client. Brett assured me that his first objective, in any court, is to seek the truth whether it meant a win or lose for himself. Brett was genuine and his character was consistent. Again, Brett scored in my book. No matter your legal needs, Brett is the safest starting place to address them. If he is not the best man for the job he will tell you and direct you to the expert best suited for the case. Brett is a successful attorney who doesn't seem to “need” the business but invites it because he sincerely fights for justice. Before he is an attorney, he is a Godly man, an advocate for children, a consistent character in pursuit of justice. Stacy
