Do not hire this firm!!!

I am a current client. However, it looks like not for long. He has exceeded my retainer by $2000, yet his actions billed do not even meet the retainer paid. I have contacted this office, and no one will discuss this with me. They say send an email to billing. After looking at reviews, this seems to b...e their story. I have no idea where my case is. They are doing no work and continue to take money. If you want to lose a lot more money than what you might pay in the case, hire these guys. They seem to be pros at it. This is not my first interaction with lawyers as I own a business. This is by far the worst.

Do not recommend

I do not feel like they paid attention to my concerns and really they didn't help me at all. When I had my initial consultation I explained exactly why I wanted a lawyer and what my only concerns were. At the one and only meeting I needed my lawyer to be at he had no notes in front of him, no idea or... recollection of what my concerns initially were and I was left to try to explain it to him while he spoke over me, interrupted and didn't listen or try to understand. I was getting very frustrated on the phone trying to whisper explain this to him while they waited for the meeting to commence. I was very upset and after that the law office did nothing further to help me but of course they kept taking payments after my case was closed with no little help from them and they had not done any work on my case in a month. They are taking their time sending final invoice even though if my case was still open I would still no longer want their services because of their poor execution.Im glad I went ahead with what needed to be done versus waiting for them out my case would still be ongoing most likely.

I Thought I Was Hiring a Fighter for Justice — I Was Wrong

I paid $6,500 upfront, and later gave them another $2,500 under pressure — over $9,000 in total. From day one, I told the attorney and his staff that another man was on my son’s birth certificate and that a legal Acknowledgment of Paternity was already on file. Despite that, the man was never served ...in time. The first hearing was postponed mid-hearing because of this mistake. Even then, I didn’t give up. I personally located the man, paid for the notary, got the affidavit signed, and submitted it to the firm. But before the next hearing, my petition was amended behind my back, causing another delay. I was never consulted — just notified after it happened. At that point, I was devastated, confused, and still being billed. I kept seeing vague entries like “Review File” or “Respond to Message,” with no real movement in my case. No court orders. No name change. No representation in a full hearing. And when I raised concerns, I received a letter with these exact words from Mr. Pritchard: “When I agreed to take your case, it became MY case… Your opinions on legal matters are of little significance to me… I will not allow a civilian observer to make demands… nor will I heed to recommendations given to you by ChatGPT or any other AI program.” That’s what I got after $9,000 — a letter saying my opinion didn’t matter. To make it worse, I recently discovered that my contract was never even signed by an attorney. They took my money, but never fully executed the agreement. That speaks volumes about how my case was handled. I hired this firm because I believed in the same values I thought they stood for. I thought I was choosing someone who would fight for what’s right. But instead, I was left to fight alone. If you’re a parent fighting to be in your child’s life, please think twice. Ask the questions I didn’t know to ask. Don’t mistake a public image for personal dedication. This was my experience. And it hurt more than just my wallet — it hurt my hope.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

This guys firm in Killeen sucks, everything everyone says is true. You come in and speak with a Lawyer and they quote you for the case but what they don’t explain is that that money is a “retainer fee”, which is basically money you put in that covers the case…. Until it doesn’t, and they won’t tell y...ou when it doesn’t they’ll just keep sending you invoices. They spend that money ASAP, that way you’ve gone over the retainer and they can keep sending invoices and making you rack up debt with the firm, and the things the invoice you is so insane, they charge $50 just to speak to your lawyer out of appointment, they’ll pick the phone up but he’ll also send an invoice for an insane amount of money for doing the bare minimum. Honestly the BAR should investigate this guy, the stuff this guy does is so shady and then using the law to sue people when we can’t pay back his scam, this guy is the devil

chop shop

I have had a very similar experience, including overpaying for services that were not provided, encountering rude lawyers, lack of communication, and having an inexperienced attorney represent me instead of the one I had hired. Contacting the firm and not receiving a response in a timely manner has b...een very challenging. I have been double-charged multiple times, with paralegals and attorneys not coordinating properly, resulting in repeated charges for the same services. I have not received satisfactory explanations for the overcharges after almost a year of no progress on my case.
