Nearly two years ago I was at the top of my game. I was an ICU nurse at a large teaching hospital. I was up for a promotion, and preparing to seek an advanced practice degree. A year ago today 10/12/11 A person who was not wearing required eyewear ran a stop sign and "t-boned" my Harley Davidson Motorcycle. I lost 6 inches of my shin bone, lost meaning it was never found. Last December my wife was killed by a hit and run driver,I had to take her it Illinois to be buried.
