She never clearly explained the divorce process. She rushed me in meetings and tried to gloss things over with laughter and goofy faces. She billed me for every email, even when she failed to do things and I had to keep emailing to ask her for things I had already asked for or discussed with her. ...I felt she was not that competent, or maybe she was just to busy raising her kids? I don't know, but she didn't care about my kids at all. I just didn't feel she was on my side and should have dropped her but was afraid that might look bad to the judge. Divorce is a racket for lawyers . . . they want you to fight with your spouse so they can just bill you, bill you, bill you. Took over a week to get back to me at times and eventually would only respond on e-mail; never fully answering my questions. Paid her over 70K for hardly any effort on her part. I would not recommend her at all.
