I never met Attorney Kayrouz in person. I asked to speak with her personally because I was very dissatisfied in the layer that was appointed to my case. She never responded. When I wasn't satisfied with the result of my court fascilitation, I expressed that I wanted to go to trial. The lawyer beca...me hostile in the hallway of the court. She raised her voice causing everyone to pay attention. When that didn't work, she took me into the judges chambers where they both proceeded to tell me that I didn't want to go to trial. I was so confused and scared. I was all but forced to take the amount that was offered. I am not satisfied. And the attorney knows that I am not satisfied. During all of the facilitation proceedings I asked the advice of my attorney. Each time an amount was offered I asked her advice. Attorney Beth Wilcoxin suggested that I turn down each amount. She was never consistent with her information, and she lied to me and told me that she suggested that I take a certain amount. I am so distraught with the proceeding and her performance, I am trying to seek other advice. I got a letter in the mail where she accepted the amount the insurance company offered that I need to sign. However, I don't want to because I don't agree with any of it's contents. I don't know what to do. I feel that this law firm does not act in the best interest of the client. I am young and I don't have much knowledge about law suits, but I can certainly tell you that I was not represented well. There was little to no negotiating for a fair settlement on my behalf. I felt that the attorney took whatever was offered. I felt as if she put forth little to no effort in my behalf. She was always one hour and much more late for court. When she did finally arrive, she had no advice and went from court to court. She never returned my calls and never answered my questions. When I asked at the beginning if I was able to change attorneys, I never got a return call from the head of the law firm. I was never satisfied with this attorney and was forced to keep her.
