Sam is by far the best lawyer I have ever met. He is genuine and compassionate. He is truly a rare find in the profession. I highly recommend him. I was on probation in Oakland County (the strictest county in Michigan) for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) and within a few months I was arrested fo...r Disorderly Intoxication. I had violated my probation previous to that arrest by lying to the judge about driving when I was not supposed to and I spent 5 days in the Oakland County Jail (Sam was NOT my lawyer at the time) because of some bad advice from a different lawyer. I was seriously looking at 90 days in jail for the probation violation and 30 days would have been a gift. Sam began giving me good advice on the phone before I had even hired him. He approached my case in a caring and compassionate way and he was much more helpful than every other lawyer I had talked to. He sincerely cared about helping me turn my life around and helping me with my sobriety from the beginning. At my probation violation hearing, because of how well Sam had prepared me and because of how well Sam represented my case, I did not get ANY jail time. I was ordered to continue with the group therapy program Sam had advised me to go into and to continue going to AA. That was it! No extension on my probation! Nothing else! I could not believe it! The result of the hearing has helped me to maintain my sobriety and helped me to begin to turn my life around for the better.

Back in August of 2015 I was involved in an accident while under the influence of alcohol and had to face a super drunk charge as a result of that nights events. Being a hard working member of the community and an engineer it was a horrible reality and experience to go throught. Ever since I first met Sam he really demonstrated he had vast knowledge of the law and was really organized and prepared to work on the best outcome possible regarding my case.
