I, on the other hand, was not guilty of any of the charges and ultimately decided not to accept a reduced charge, opting instead to force the matter to trial. As it turns out, the state attorney reviewed the facts of the case and decided that Fl State Trooper Campbell acted maliciously, without cause. The state dropped all charges without going to trial.
