Lavan & Neidenberg Law Firm will hold on to your entitlement percentage EVEN when they have withdrawn their claim to pursue the Case...... 2014 the Law Firm of Lavan & Neidenber accepted my case for service connected PTSD and Lower back injury. They told me how the would get the judgment on my c...ase. Less then a month or so, they send back my file with my documents. I then was told I did not have enough evidence and they were withdrawing their representation. 2018 After Two other Power of Attorneys representation, Lavan & Neidenber law Firm after years without contact or notification "They Made An Inquiry In to My CASE"!!!!! Without my knowledge and permitting. They denied the documented inquiry. The Law Firm sent their Representative Donnel Beckles In a face to face meeting Mr. Beckles Told me not only did they not have any work hours on my case but they will give me a documents stating withdrawal from representation But Not Entitlement!!!! They would do no work but want to be Payed a percentage. When I visited Mr. Beckles on May 5 He gave me another story that they have no interest in entitlement OR FEES and gave me another document. This document was not only date this year 2017 IT WAS FOR FUTURE ENTITLEMENT!! NOT CURRENT OR PAST!!!! Now they refuse to Call or Talk to me.

I have been trying to reach this offer to request they return a check sent to them from the VA in which I believe to be an error. I have notified the VA of the mistake and i am hoping the office will do the right thing. The attorney office withdrew from my case in 2015 with out proper notice or caus...e. I had to seek other representation however they were sent a check for $57,000 out of my veterans benefits that they did not work for. This office incurred no fees what so ever with my case as they they do open the case it was already open before I sought their help with my VA claim. I have never been able to reach people at the office and I am requesting they return the payment. AS of today, I still cant reach anyone at this office.

For 2 1/2 years I waited for your firm to move my Disability case along. I rarely had any contact from your firm. Calls went to voicemail and were rarely answered and follow up was virtually non existent. I had to push to get my own medical records sent to you. Once my hearing was set I met with an... attorney for the FIRST time. That attorney barely spoke with me, making me feel like I went into the hearing blind! The judge made a favorable decision and your firm got $6000(the MAXIMUM allowed by law) of my backpay for what I felt was substandard work. I hardly think you put that many billable hours into my case...but I chalked it up to "just the way things are" Then 2 months after my case was resolved I get harassing calls from your "medical records specialist" I insisted I didn't owe this, you had received your payment. Yesterday an ATTORNEY called me. He belittled me, called me a lair and a cheat, and threatened that my yearly disability review could jeopardize my disability benefits. He continued to speak to me in a sing song voice repeating "liar and cheat" and telling me I was dispicable. Unfortunately I didn't get his name at the beginning of the conversation, but I intend to file a formal complaint with the Florida Bar Association. I really find it ironic that on one hand he claimed your firm had done such a great job getting me my benefits and then turned around and alleged he could cause me to lose them because I was a "dispicable person".....I was PROVEN disabled by my doctors and unemployable by Social Security's Specialist in Rehabilitation. It wasn't your firm thst did anything more than sumbit documents I helped obtain to the judge, so of this "rude man" thinks he can undo that all because your firm now wants an additional $250 then apparently more people need to hire him to represent them because he would be a miracle worker! I have NEVER been treated so disrespectful and by someone with an advanced degree. You would have thought I was on the phone with a thug not an attorney. One person like this can ruin your entire firm!! He needs to be reprimanded!!

I initially hired your firm and then changed my mind within 30 days to represent me in a VA claim. You put in a request for information and that was all. It has cost me a total of over 4,000$ and I think it was dishonest for your firm to take that money for doing absolutely nothing. I am calling for ...an investigation on the VA and how they allowed you to take money from me all these years later. I hired and fired you in 2013 within one month. You just recently received over three thousand dollars for a claim just decided while the DAV was representing me. I believe that to be criminal

Although it takes awhile to be scheduled for a hearing before an Administrative Judge...it is no fault of the Law Firm...but due to the back log of the Social Security System....but I must say I was very pleased with my Case Developer Betsy Joseph...who returned all my calls and kept my case updated ...and let me know what I needed to do...she was just an all around nice person..(she is a keeper)...also my Attorney, Ms. Amy Shenstone was very knowledgeable about my case and had all the necessary paperwork available for my hearing...because of these two people it made this frustrating, long process bearable...hats off to a job well done..(please let these two people mentioned know that I am grateful for all that was done. ( It's because of them that my case was a success)..Thanks again for your services...
