Kingcade & Garcia is a must to consider if you need to file bankruptcy. From my first meeting with Mr. Kingcade, throughout the entire process, the firm was very professional, friendly and helpful. I had to file bankruptcy as I lost my job due to downsizing. A search was performed by the staff which ...listed any possible creditors that I had, some of which I was not even aware. I was caretaker for my husband who suffered with Alzheimer's and the staff made the compilation of documents as easy as possible. After the creditor's meeting, one of my creditors, who did not appear at the meeting, posted a lien on our house. I was made aware of the lien and was advised that it could be removed thru the bankruptcy court. A few days prior to the hearing, my husband passed away. I was advised that I did not need to personally attend. Not only was the lien removed from the house, but the prior judgment was also removed with no possibility of being reinstated. This is the worst lawyer. He gives a great consultation. However, he does not represent you. He has other people going to court that know nothing about your case. When the case was discharged, they would not even answer questions as to what happed. For what it cost me, I could have almost paid o...ff my debt. I would not recommend this lawyer.

I met with Mr.Kingcade to learn my rights if I can file bankruptcy. Mr. Kingcade advised me that I qualified for a Chapter 7 and that all my assets were protected including two vehicle's worth more than 11k. I filed a Chapter 7 and provided his office all the documents he requested, and answered trut...hfully all the questions his staff asked me. During the next several months and dealing with his staff, which by the way, I had to have spoken to at least 6 different staff members about my case and always someone said something different. The U.S Trustee sued me to block my bankruptcy because of the way Mr. Kingcade's law firm prepared my documents(Full of mistakes). The Chapter 7 Trustee began trying to take away my cars. I then hired a different lawyer cause I felt that Mr.Kingcade had mislead and misguided me. When explaining my case to the other law firm, they advised me that I should have never filed a Chapter 7. The other law firm also advsied that I could not pay the U.S Trustee fast enough to keep my cars and without my cars my wife and I could not go to work. In the end I switched to a Chapter 13 to not only keep my cars but to pay all my creditor's to stop the U.S Trustee from suing me. If my case was done right, I could have saved a lot of money. Again stay away from Kingcade and his law firm.
