He never kept track of the fact I had a son and not a daughter. He did not know his age or name. He let opposing counsel run circles around him. He is not assertive at all. Meanwhile this ruthless woman accused me of being in school to avoid childsupport. She pushed for supervised visitation to ...my 3 year old whom I never harmed nor abandoned. I breastfed my son for 18 months. He sat there and never objected until I literally stood up at the table, then he tells me to calm down. It was as if opposing counsel was his best friend and I was the the enemy. And I really wish I could post a picture of my final resolution. He struck out the information as if he retracted the resolution. Even the court clerk was alarmed when I picked up my records. You do not want this man to represent you. He is all about the money for those phone calls he does and does not answer. He will nickel and dime you for each one. He understood I was in school and a disabled veteran. He just wanted his money and did not care about my special needs son whom I was in the middle of getting diagnosed for his autism. Most of us try to be nice. We try to be patient. We try to be kind. You can't. Because if your attorney is sympathetic with everything but your bill, he will leave you alone and stranded.

WORST ATTORNEY...DO NOT HIRE! I hired Jonathan Simon as my divorce attorney. He was negligent, failed to show up for meetings, never returned phone calls, strung me along stating he was working on my case, continued to charge me, my case's outcome ended poorly, it was as if I had no counsel. He had a... new office every other month practically. Turned out he was getting disbarred during my divorce and never disclosed it. Just bragged about his pedigree.

I don’t understand the bad reviews and from the dates that was after I had him. He did an incredible job for me and made my ex wife’s lawyers look incompetent. I got exactly what I wanted in a woman friendly state and I owe that to Mr. Simon. He was expensive but it was becisse my ex wife kept draggi...ng it on.

Mr. Simon presented himself as an aggressive attorney, ‘a bull dog’ and would go to trial in my divorce. That never happened. Instead, he allowed my ex-husband’s attorney to take charge which resulted in my ex-husband (also an attorney and former prosecutor) not paying a penny of child support for ...3 children. The entire process was horrible. expensive, and fraudulent. I never signed the divorce papers (all places where the husband and wife are supposed to initial and sign/date we’re removed). but somehow the incompetent new Seminole County judge signed off on the “fraudulent’ divorce papers. I was told by another attorney and the Florida Bar who I approached about the fraudulent Seminole County, Fl divorce that I could sue because there are no statute of limitations for fraud but then I would be starting the divorce process all over again… and it had already been nearly a 3 year, expensive, process.

I hired him when he was with Orlando Legal. Orlando Legal dissolved and he never told me. He tried to continue his practice form an executive suite by himself. Lost the flash drives with all the information I gave him. I had 2 conferences with him for which he charged me $800 to prepare for my de...position. Maybe 1.5 hours between the two of them. At deposition, he couldn't remember anything we had gone over. He deposed (very gently) my wife for 20 minutes after I had been deposed for 5 1/2 hours and he paid no attention during that time. Didn't pick up on one question. Charged me $2000 for deposition fees. I have not been able to reach him since. 3 months without a lawyer and I had to hire another one.
