Believe it or not, I found Attorney Marina Medvin on the internet, and I must admit, I was initially concerned about hiring an attorney from the internet, rather than through a personal referral. However, for those of you who may have similar concerns, you can rest easy knowing tha...t you are getting the best criminal defense attorney in town! My son was charged with possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol in Fairfax County, and most attorneys will just take your money and accept the First Offender program without telling you that it requires a guilty plea, and it will remain on your child’s permanent record. However, Attorney Marina Medvin took the time to explain all options, and was willing to do the “hard work” associated with going to trial if necessary to preserve his clean record. Ultimately, she was able to get the possession of marijuana charge completely dropped, and the Alcohol charge is to be dropped upon successful completion of a private alcohol class.
