Excellent Law firm!!!!

One of the hardest things I had to do in my life was to choose a defense attorney for my brother criminal case as he was in no shape to do it for himself. During this time I met with few different Law firms. However, when I met with Peter, I got really impressed by him for being very patient in liste...ning to my brother’s condition. Me and my family were also very impressed by his past cases. After listening to everything, Peter gave us very realistic goals and advice. Peter and his associate,Muhammad provided us with excellent legal advice and guidance to my brother and our family for the case. We are really thankful to Peter Greenspun for all he and his team did for us. Throughout the trial period he and his team stayed in communication with my brother and our family. And explained what was going on with trial every step of the way. He and his team worked tirelessly and one of the thing that really impressed me was he was prepared and thought all different angles of the case. In short, after hiring peter and his team we felt like we hired the right lawyer for my brother’s case. They were very effective and were there for my brother every step of the way. They got the result my brother and I was looking and this would have not been possible without Peter, Muhammad and support of his team. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone in need of legal advice

Fantastic Group of Lawyers

I've known Peter and Anastasia for years, had a unique traffic violation come up recently and they handled it for me. Very professional and caring, knowing I had them to handle it for me made it much less stressful. Would highly recommend for any legal issues whether small or large.

Fierce, thorough and effective!

I am extremely thankful to have had Peter Greenspun represent me during a terrifying and stressful time in my life. With a murder allegation in front of me, no criminal record, and no experience with the legal system, I was in despair. Before Peter, I was working with another “good” lawyer, but it s...oon became clear to me that Peter is of a different caliber. He came to meet with me while I was in jail on a Sunday evening and I was immediately impressed with his sense of urgency, work ethic, and approach to my circumstance. He was not able to focus attention to my case immediately as he was busy working hard on another client’s trial– nonetheless, he had another attorney from his firm, Anastasia Kranias, come to see me shortly after I made the decision to hire him and she got the ball rolling on my defense right away. The first order of business was getting bond, which Peter did successfully after my first attorney could not. While this was an uphill battle, Peter did his homework before the bond hearing- although he had a short period of time to review my case, he had already become acquainted enough with it to rebut every single one of the Commonwealth’s opposition points plus more, he had done his research on my personal history, and he was able to cite a decent list of prior relevant cases. Soon after, Peter had to fight through another obstacle as the Commonwealth appealed the judge’s bond decision. Thanks to Peter’s strong response, the court of appeals decided not to revoke my bond. Through 2 continuances and a 2 week trial, I consistently experienced the same from Peter- he worked tirelessly, he was thorough, he was tenacious, he was prepared- thinking of everything from all different angles. I believe he had my best interest in mind as there were many occasions he could have taken short cuts, but did not. There were times when he could have simply acted on my decisions, probably poor ones made from being emotionally and mentally drained or simply being frightened, but he took the time to help me think clearly- somehow this seemed to always happen towards the end of the day when he could have been enjoying dinner with his family or getting some rest, perhaps. Several times I sat in his office and he advised me in the same manner my own father would have advised me -with the addition of many years of experience as a defense attorney. Most importantly, Peter is effective. I was acquitted of all charges and a heavy weight has been lifted from my chest – this would not have been possible without Peter, Anastasia and their support team.

One of the Best

I had 6 Felony charges from a false accusation that was one of those "How do you disprove a negative" kind of case. I was recommended to Peter Greenspun from another attorney to provide a sanity check to my then defense preparations. After talking with him I made the choice to change lawyers and reta...in his firm as it was clear from the conversation that his goal from the start was to do everything he could to never let my case go to trial if possible. Juries are both good and bad - once you get in front of one, it may not matter how good your defense is, you could still be found guilty for any number of factors outside of your control. Peter Greenspun and his team of professionals organized every bit of information available about my case - from witness testimony, medical records, to discovery provided by the authorities - they fully documented my history and background. I had to do a lot of "homework" to help make sure he had as much information as he needed to understand and be ready for anything that came at him from the prosecution. To his credit (and yours if you retain him) he has an excellent reputation with the Courts, being well known for his depth of knowledge of the Law, and his professionalism. He lives by the mantra of preparing for the worst, but planning for the best outcome - not just hoping for it. In the end, my case was dismissed with prejudice at trial, in no small part because of his excellent knowledge of, and how to use every aspect of the Law to his client's advantage. I would highly recommend Peter Greenspun to anyone looking for one of the best criminal defense attorneys in Northern Virginia - because he is.

Peter D Greenspun "He's the real McCoy".

I had five felony charges hanging over my head. After fighting relentlessly with my initial attorney, the best result was to plea to 3 felonies. With the recommendation of my first attorney.
