Mark Dycio, Esq. used to be well know as a very effective defense attorney. However, over the past few years many of his clients have received inferior representation from him and have gone elsewhere, myself included. He offs his cases now to his junior lawyers and pushes clients to accept the first ...plea bargain he gets whereas in the past he would have fought tooth and nail for a dismissal. He just no longer has any real fight left in him. The last time I used him I was quoted one rate but when the bill arrived it was not what he said it would be but rather a considerable amount more. When I asked him about it HE LIED and said he told me what it would be when he said no such thing. I've since used another lawyer for representation and the difference was apparent right away in both billing and the fight to win the case. I contacted Dycio for legal counsel on 2 charges in Fairfax County: drunk in public and resisting arrest. While Dycio's firm is not the cheapest firm around, I do not feel like my money was poorly spent. He was successful in defending my 2 charges, getting one dropped and the other dropped after comp...leting some community service. Furthermore, after completion, the firm was successful in getting my record expunged. Overall I would definitely recommend Dycio's firm for legal counsel and representation.
