Divorce is sometimes awful and tricky, but Mr. Bowen was amazing at navigating me through this tough process. What I thought would be a simple divorce took a few crazy turns, and we ended up having to go to court. Mr. Bowen had all the paperwork ready to go and presented the case in less than 4 minut...es. The judge even applauded Mr. Bowen for the most thorough and efficient divorce filing he'd ever seen in all his years, decades as a lawyer and now as a judge. While divorce itself stinks, having Mr. Bowen and his office on my side was a delight and constant comfort through it all. I had initiated a custody hearing initially without legal consult, only to find the responding party brought not just their own attorney, but a highly experienced, well paid attorney. All this, however, paled to actual hearing where Larry’s preparation and experience proved decisive, both in bringing the outcome to a win, but even in the surprising aftermath when the opposing party took steps to prolong and complicate the final decision well past the hearing date. Larry had clearly taken steps to prepare for such retaliatory measures, and I was amazed to see how effectively he managed to dismantle what could have easily been utter chaos as additional lawyers and petitions were brought to sway the favor. They presented a maelstrom of legal obstacles while Larry simply took a separate path, free from these obstacles. It is impossible to express my gratitude for Larry Bowen and his team. With 2 years remaining on my spousal support agreement I found myself as a defendant in a spousal support reduction/termination case.
