We highly recommend Paul Haar as an top immigration attorney in DMV area.

Mr. Paul Haar, is one the best attorney’s that I have ever work with, he is not like the usual attorney he is like a good friend. He is always available to answer questions and he always cared about our family case. We can't thank everyone in his office enough to make this experience so smooth and su...ccessful. I called him several times and he always gave me hope and good energy to continue to fight my case. My immigration situation was a special case and I talked to many attorneys, no one accepted my case and a few of them gave me a high price with no guarantee, but he gave me a reasonable fee and he never asked for more. I am 100% satisfied with the job he has done and I would recommend him. If you are looking to get a visa, green card, citizenship, or have any immigration issues for that matter....he is your hero, can't say enough good things!!!! Today is a very emotional day... one of my most happiest days.

Wonderful Service

I searched for immigration lawyers and was not settled on any of them. I was then referred to Paul from my mother as she used his services in the past and highly recommended him. I was filing for spousal visa for my spouse and 2 step children. Paul, Sarah, and their administrative staff have been soo... fantastic and could not do so without them. Paul and Sarah worked hard to get all the paperwork. My family was finally approved to come join me in the states after being denied the first time around. The time frame was pretty quick as well and did not take long. Paul listens to you, and quickly understands and provides a solution which WORKS. I honestly have never worked with a lawyer who is as dedicated to his clients as Paul. He is humble, caring, intelligent, and extremely devoted to his clients. Paul really pushes it to the end for you. What ever he tells you is what transpires. He does not sugarcoat anything. Some lawyers are all for the money and do not deliver. But, Paul is very passionate about his Job as he is very knowledgeable about law. My family and I are very blessed and grateful to have Paul in our lives. We will continue to use his services anytime It's needed, and refer him and his practice to all our friends and family. Do not hesitate to reach out to Paul for any of your immigration issues. He will deliver beyond expectations and will not dissapoint you. Thank you Paul, Sarah, and staff.

Unprofessional and questionable billing practices

I was referred to Paul to help file an HB1 Visa for an employee. During the consultation (for which he got the time wrong and did no initial work to figure out if my organization qualified for the type of Visa), he was condescending and rude and said he needed some time to provide an opinion. We resc...heduled so we could meet the following Monday. Again, he got the time wrong for the Monday call and during the 10 minute call promised to review materials sent to him and get back to me. We sent him materials on Tuesday. On Thursday he said he needed $1,000. Not any explanation of what he would be doing for the $1,000, what that included, what the deliverables were, what the timeline was, what his hourly rate was, etc. I told him I needed a detailed invoice for a retainer that I could pay from. He did allow that his hourly rate was $500; even though an initial consultation with him was only $300. I reiterated the next day that I needed more details for payment. He said he would get back to me. He did get back to me and said we weren't eligible for the kind of Visa we were seeking. All of that is well and good. Where Paul acted unprofessionally was not providing details for billing (instead just asking for $1,000 over email, like a gangster) and wasting everyone's time in dealing with a very time sensitive matter. I'm disappointed that he seemed unprepared and that his billing practices seem wildly unethical. His lack of transparency is laughable. Avoid this guy. He's the worst.

We deeply regret any misunderstanding. We always provide written retainer agreements for our work. We reached out in advance by e-mail to determine if you were amenable to the fee prior to drafting the agreement and you apparently misunderstood. We attempted to save you money by performing a preliminary evaluation without being hired and advised you of our proposed fee should you wish for a more detailed evaluation. We're sorry you had a bad experience with our firm.

It was a long time coming and there is hope.

I first want to tell you people out there reading this , that there is always HOPE. Take a bow for Sarah Yeomans. She is Sharp, diligent and determined an extreme asset to the Paul Harr Lawfirm. I think The law form of Harr and Yeomans sounds even better. Let me take you back 11 years ago to a journe...y of uncertainty and fear because you don’t know from day to day what’s going to happen to your loved one and you’ve tried at least 3 other lawyers and spent thousands and thousands of dollars doing so. And on top of that , those other lawyers may want to help but just didn’t have the know how or capacity to do so. Then you’re stressed even more because you have a family to take care of. Well we gave it a last resort chance in year 7. We were exhausted do you hear me people. We drove to Washington based on a referral input the Harr law firm. We met Paul and Sarah the first day and had a realistic consultation. If you listen to them and follow their instructions you CAN get things accomplished. I know we’ve all been through a lot and want to just be ok. Well this law firm took our case and Sarah Yeomans is the ONE that came in and did an Amazing job representing us as well as the firm of Paul Harr. Our case was sooo complicated and we survived. My husband was granted residency status and On his birthday!! I know a lot of you are up looking and researching for a qualified powerful law firm. Well this is it. I was so excited about our success in court that dubbed Sarah the nickname”WHIP” . She’s sharp people!!! She’s bilingual and super sharp. Sorry if I’m repeating a lot but our case was very hard. There were so many accusations from immigration like marriage fraud which was the toughest one of many allegations. I now sit here joyfully typing this to tell you there’s Hope through the Paul Harr law firm .We can finally rest and day it’s gonna be ok. So can you give them a call and ask for the Whip! Thanks Sarah soooooo much. Family takes care of one another, you are now my family.
