Since the first moment I saw mr. James at court in downtown brooklyn I knew he was a serious and dedicated man at his profession. He has been my lawyer since february of 2013 fighting for my dwi case. He has kept me informed and taught me the possible results or outcomes of my accusations. Although t...he case is not over it is close to ending with positive results. Yet yesterday we made an incredible victory at my safety hearing with the department of motor vehicles where my license was going to be revoked due to my refusal to a chemical test back when my dwi case started. Where to begin? Mr. Medows offered to represent me at a rate that only large firms who send one lawyer to represent multiple clients at a time could even begin to approach. The individual attention Mr. Medows would provide me with at a lower price made hiring him a no-brainer. He met me in person at ...his office to discuss the case despite the fact that we had already covered the bases over the phone and via email. During the meeting, Mr. Medows proved to be quite personable as an individual and very passionate as a lawyer; I knew I was in very good hands. As it turns out, the DA decided not to pursue my case (likely due to lack of good evidence), and I got a letter from the courts stating that my case had been dismissed and sealed. Although my case was only four days away at this point, Mr. Medows, upon receipt of a text message from me informing him of aforementioned letter from the courts, immediately offered to refund my retainer fee. He promptly sent out a check refunding every penny I had paid him for his services. I have worked with three lawyers in the past (divorce, simple assault, and DWI), and none of them can hold a candle to the genuine interest Mr. Medows has in helping people, it's as simple as that. I highly recommend Mr. Medows to any and all people who are in a bind and want someone who truly cares about people to handle their case.

James Medows was very thorough and helpful throughout the entirety of my case. He was almost always available instantly via text message when I had any questions, and he stayed in contact as the case progressed. In the end, he was able to have the case dismissed. James is an amazing lawyer and was highly professional, from my initial phone contact with him to the moment he saved me from a conviction and had my arrest sealed (pending my 1 year good behavior, or course) the absolute best outcome I could have asked for! James is is highly efficient and is respec...tful of everyone's time - The Judge's, The District Attorney's, and his Client's. He does talk fast, but that is a good thing, you will get all of the important information as quickly as possible. He was also very good at answering any questions I had, even the stupid ones... From the moment he returned my call about 10 days before my court date he was in constant contact with me via text and email, and even text me the night before my court appearance to find out if I had any final questions he could answer. Very comforting! The day of my DAT he walked out of the court room and said, "I negotiated the deal we were after (ACD), just walk into the court room and sit down", I walked into the room and there was about 50 people sitting and waiting to be called up, I barely even sat down and my name was called, James was waiting at the bench in front of the judge and motioned for me to join him, the DA told the judge what deal we had negotiated, James confirmed the deal and the judge spoke with me for 30 seconds to make sure I understood the terms of the deal, I said Yes, and we were done! James told me to wait in the hallway and he came out about 2 mins later to say good luck and goodbye! It really could not have been easier, or turned out better. Thanks again James! James always presented himself in an impeccable manner and was very well dressed on both occasions we met in person, he had a very good relationship with the DA, he quickly allayed any fears that I had about dealing with the Justice system and made the entire process as pleasant as possible. His fee was very reasonable, and absolutely the best money I've ever spent. His competitors quoted me anywhere from 2 - 8 times the amount James quoted me!! Seriously! I was on this site a few weeks ago feeling lost, confused and scared, trying to do as much research as possible to make sure I made the right decision.
