A Great & Compassionate Lawyer

I would highly recommend James Meadows, Esq. to anyone in need of an attorney. Mr. Meadows is extremely diverse and knowledgeable in the field of law, quick thinking, and knows how to handle complex issues quickly and effectively. He is very meticulous and detailed oriented. In and outside of the cou...rtroom, Mr. Meadows seems very comfortable with and well respected by his peers. From the time, I walked in his office, Mr. Meadows worked hard to make me feel comfortable, listen to my story, and come up with the best approach to ameliorate my situation(which could have adversely affected my overall career and life trajectory). The legal process can sometimes become long and drawn out, however, Mr. Meadows makes the process more tolerable by arriving early so that your case is handle quickly and early on; available and easy to contact (he responds to texts and phone calls promptly); and very communicative with the D.A.’s office and representatives in order to arrive at the best solution for your case. Without reservations, I strongly recommend that you consider having Mr. James Meadows, Esq. recommend you.

James Medows, one serious lawyer

Since the first moment I saw mr. James at court in downtown brooklyn I knew he was a serious and dedicated man at his profession. He has been my lawyer since february of 2013 fighting for my dwi case. He has kept me informed and taught me the possible results or outcomes of my accusations. Although t...he case is not over it is close to ending with positive results. Yet yesterday we made an incredible victory at my safety hearing with the department of motor vehicles where my license was going to be revoked due to my refusal to a chemical test back when my dwi case started. He stood there for me and really did his job and helped me won the case.

An Angel Sent from heaven!

I literally felt a peace and calm inside of me once I hired James. Very professional and very intelligent. I like that he is straight forward and to the point. He won't bankrupt you and is very understanding on what it is you want as a final result. A workaholic in every sense of the word. James will... be the only lawyer i will recommend to everyone from this day forward.

Effective & Professional

I won't go into all the details of my arrest about a year ago in the wake of Sandy, but luckily my first phone call to a close friend resulted in the very quick introduction to Mr. Medows. I was a nervous wreck, and he was amazing! He got the charges against me dropped, and worked with me through ...the tangle that is our criminal justice "system". If you should ever need a criminal defense lawyer, Mr. Medows is who you would want to have representing you. I fully endorse him.

Wrongfully Accused for Bank Fraud

James Hal Medows advocates and negotiates - for you. James Medows minimizes the impact of a system that operates to inflict punishment before vindication. For me, James Medows nipped at the outset my potential wrongful arrest and did not try to financially exploit me to do it. Never go into a ...police station unprepared! The police can arrest you without saying "you are under arrest". The police don't read you your Miranda rights. The police - do - isolate you in a subterranean room within the police station to interrogate you without the protection of a lawyer. And I was the victim. A thief duplicated my debit card and stole money from my bank account. I reported the theft to the bank and the police. The detective assigned to investigate my case asked me to come to the police station to provide more information. When I went to the police station, the detective accused me of taking and reporting the money stolen. After questioning me for 40 minutes to effect a false confession, the detective released me. The second time the same detective requested that I come to the station I lawyer-ed up. James, after ascertaining that I was the innocent party, made the detective understand "very clearly" that I was the victim, and James' presence had the detective explaining "very nicely" - even though I thought the detective's excuse was lame - the reason for the second visit. James explained to me the consequences of being charged - even if erroneously charged. An 18 to 24 hour jail stay. An internet publicized arrest. Missed work. Potential loss of job. At least two court appearances: one for arraignment and bail and one for dismissal of the charges. The length of time to correct this mistake is at least 6 months. Bank fraud is a FELONY! James' handling of this circumstance demonstrated his committment to eliminating a societal trauma by preventing another negative interaction between the public and the police. Again, my thanks and esteem go out to James!
