Approximately 18 months ago after receiving two moving violations one day after another I searched online for an attorney that could assist me with this matter. James Medows came highly recommended. I tried him with my speeding ticket. He was able to postpone the court date for 1.5 years then beat the ticket ! I avoided 4 points on my license. I received two tickets in a short amount of time so I figured I should get some help. I knew this James Medows was the right man for the job as soon as I spoke with him. I do know it's not easy to beat a traffic ticket in NYC so I didn't get my hopes up too high, but the first one just went to trial ...and he beat it! Even if I had lost I would have been happy with his services, he is profesional, diligent and passionate about defending his clients.

I have recommended Mr. Meadows to all of my friends and am now recommending him to all of Avvo. Several years ago, I received two traffic tickets in NYC. After reading his reviews, I contacted Mr. Meadows and he immediately responded. He explained, as I was aware, that NYC will not negotiate traffic ...tickets, but agreed to attempt to have them dismissed. He appeared on my behalf for several court dates and had them postponed. He kept me informed on the status of each court date. On the final date a few months ago, one of the tickets with 2 points was dismissed and I was fined approximately $150 for the other with 0 points. The fine and Mr. Meadows’ reasonable fee, of which he refunded approximately $50, were an absolute bargain! Without Mr. Meadows help dismissing the one ticket, I would have paid thousands more over the next few years for the second fine, government surcharges and insurance premiums. If you are as desperate as I was, call him! If anyone can have your ticket dismissed, he can. (And NEVER make an illegal turn in NYC.)
