Sincere and compassionate

Mr. James Medows is extremely compassionate and sincere. He did not treat myself or my son like clients he treated us like if we are personal friends or family. He was completely and thoroughly engrossed in helping us since the first phone call. Mr. Medows left no stone unturned. I was honestly surpr...ised on how efficient and professional he was and how comfortable he made myself and my son feel. I can go on and on about Mr. Medows I would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of an Excellent attorney. Caring, compassionate, affordable, professional and thorough. It's unbelievable to say but he was on a level unsurpassable by I would say most attorneys in his field. He was so compassionate that one conversation consisted of Mr. Medows letting me know that regardless of time day or night even if it meant 4am to please contact him and he would immediately communicate back. He is definitely the attorney you would want if ever in a criminal situation. Thank you so very much James....

Wrongfully Accused for Bank Fraud

James Hal Medows advocates and negotiates - for you. James Medows minimizes the impact of a system that operates to inflict punishment before vindication. For me, James Medows nipped at the outset my potential wrongful arrest and did not try to financially exploit me to do it. Never go into a ...police station unprepared! The police can arrest you without saying "you are under arrest". The police don't read you your Miranda rights. The police - do - isolate you in a subterranean room within the police station to interrogate you without the protection of a lawyer. And I was the victim. A thief duplicated my debit card and stole money from my bank account. I reported the theft to the bank and the police. The detective assigned to investigate my case asked me to come to the police station to provide more information. When I went to the police station, the detective accused me of taking and reporting the money stolen. After questioning me for 40 minutes to effect a false confession, the detective released me. The second time the same detective requested that I come to the station I lawyer-ed up. James, after ascertaining that I was the innocent party, made the detective understand "very clearly" that I was the victim, and James' presence had the detective explaining "very nicely" - even though I thought the detective's excuse was lame - the reason for the second visit. James explained to me the consequences of being charged - even if erroneously charged. An 18 to 24 hour jail stay. An internet publicized arrest. Missed work. Potential loss of job. At least two court appearances: one for arraignment and bail and one for dismissal of the charges. The length of time to correct this mistake is at least 6 months. Bank fraud is a FELONY! James' handling of this circumstance demonstrated his committment to eliminating a societal trauma by preventing another negative interaction between the public and the police. Again, my thanks and esteem go out to James!

Honest lawyer who genuinely cares about his client.

Where to begin? Mr. Medows offered to represent me at a rate that only large firms who send one lawyer to represent multiple clients at a time could even begin to approach. The individual attention Mr. Medows would provide me with at a lower price made hiring him a no-brainer. He met me in person at ...his office to discuss the case despite the fact that we had already covered the bases over the phone and via email. During the meeting, Mr. Medows proved to be quite personable as an individual and very passionate as a lawyer; I knew I was in very good hands. As it turns out, the DA decided not to pursue my case (likely due to lack of good evidence), and I got a letter from the courts stating that my case had been dismissed and sealed. Although my case was only four days away at this point, Mr. Medows, upon receipt of a text message from me informing him of aforementioned letter from the courts, immediately offered to refund my retainer fee. He promptly sent out a check refunding every penny I had paid him for his services. I have worked with three lawyers in the past (divorce, simple assault, and DWI), and none of them can hold a candle to the genuine interest Mr. Medows has in helping people, it's as simple as that. I highly recommend Mr. Medows to any and all people who are in a bind and want someone who truly cares about people to handle their case.

Very efficient lawyer

If you are looking for a lawyer I would, and do highly recommend James. He is super efficient. I have used him for over 6 years and have found him to be very good at what he does. You don't even realize just how good he is until you observe other lawyers in the court room stumbling over details or p...rocedures. He never stumbles over his words. He comes 100% prepared to court. He has already dealt with the D.A. when he comes to court. He is calm, collected, and reassuring. I would never use another lawyer. He is super honest and does not cheat you for more money. He could easily drag things along but he won't just to save you money. He is the most rear of lawyers and if you have the good fortune of coming across his name, use him. You will find out what I mean. I have every intention of never needing a lawyer again but if the need shall arise, his will be the only lawyer I would call. He is the only one I would put my trust in. Did I mention that he is an excellent lawyer? He is that good. Seriously.
