Forcefully accused

Mr. Medows was highly recommended to me. My family was in a crisis and I called Mr. Medows. I explained the situation and he got right on it. He said relax, stay calm and he would handle it and he did. Mr. Medows contacted all parties involved and my son was released the next day and all charges w...ere dropped. Mr. Medows is dependable, reliable , you can call on him at anytime and a great attorney who gets the job done.

Effiecient and Reliable!!!

I called on James Medows after my son found himself facing a misdemeanor. After sharing pertinent information with him, he convinced me to relax and allow him to do his job as my lawyer. Following our 1st meeting, I slept through the night for the first time in 3 weeks. True to his word, he found ...out information I was unable to attain and ultimately resolve the crisis my family was facing. In the end my son pleaded to a violation, paid a fine, and must serve community service. After each meeting, Mr. Medows ensured that all my questions were answered and always made me feel comfortable in calling or texting him with any other questions I may have. My first thoughts after our initial meeting was "Oh no, he's just a baby..." don't be fooled. Mr. Medows is definitely KNOWLEDGEABLE. I pray I never need him again, but if I find myself or anyone in my circle in need - I will not hesitate to call on James Medows. He's worth every dime.

Retaining James' services was one of the best decisions I've made

I don't know if its possible for a criminal case to be a positive experience, but if so, working with James made it about as bearable as possible. Highly Recommended for a number of reasons. I am an artist and was arrested for graffiti in Brooklyn, I was referred his among a few others' services a...fter asking my public defender at arraignment (court demanded private counsel for me). I went in for a consultation and it became clear James did not know this public defender who had recommended him - which I saw as a very good sign attesting to his reputation. James was able to get my charges reduced in a way that, to me, was nothing short of magical. I personally know people who have been charged with the same infractions, and they did not receive anywhere near the same outcome I received with James' services. His knowledge and professionalism saved me a small mountain of time and money. There are a few reasons I would suggest his services to anyone in a similar situation. First off, he's smart - was very knowledgable yet also pragmatic and focused when discussing the outcomes surrounding my case. Second, he's sociable and extremely alert. As odd as it sounds, this was, in my estimation, probably the most crucial element of getting the deal I got - he scheduled an informal meeting with the district attorney and as he put it, "for the price of a cup of coffee", was able to reach a better deal for me, getting misdemeanors dropped down to a violation, reduced punishment, etc. The deal ended up working out even better down the road, once again because of his knowledge of the court's daily operations and day-to-day players. He seemed to know everyone in the courtroom at the time and genuinely care about them on a personal level. Last, he's affordable, and it was immediately obvious to me that he is not concerned about price gouging. In my specific case he helped me with a few details post-sentence that went above and beyond our retainer agreement. He didn't have to do that. As Goethe said, "You can judge a man's character by how he treats someone with whom he has nothing to gain." Also, he's got great style. Couldn't be happier with his services or recommend him more highly. To put it colloquially, he rules.

Charged with 6 Misdeameanors, retained James Medows and walked away without a criminal record !

I was going through the worse time of my life. I was charged with 6 misdemeanors. I retained Mr Medows and he immediately began to work on my case. As A result of my arrest, I was facing the loss of my teaching license, my house, my car and everything else :( Mr Meadows was able to negotiate a deal w...here I walked away with a non-criminal violation and NO criminal record. Mr Medows is sharp, knowledgeable and has great oratorical skills. Additionally he has great rapport with his colleagues (Judges, DA's etc). James Medows is highly professional, respectful and compassionate. He will work hard on your case and call/text you updates and answer all of your questions. Mr Meadows was able to get me a earlier court date and my case was resolved quickly and I am moving forward with my life. James Medows restored my livelihood. I highly recommend him. His rate is reasonable and he will work hard to get you a favorable disposition. I cannot thank James Medows enough for his hard work and dedication with regard to my case!

A Positive Outcome

James Medows took on my case in summer of 2012, I was being charged with promoting prostitution, selling liquor without a license and illegal warehousing. For several months Medows fought these charges down to a city violation, which is not a crime. the D.A was offering me 90 days in jail and due to ...the persistent work of Medows not only did i not spend one night in a cell but i was able to continue my education to receive my B.A degree in Buffalo NY comfortably. I would recommend Medows to any one not wanting to spend time in prison for a crime they did not commit. His knowledge of the law guarantees a positive outcome in your case.
