Still scratching my head on what went wrong on phone call

So i look at good reviews and the letter this attorney sends in mail and call him. He does this every day so probably has all the math ready in his mind. I request him to lower the fees and I get a loud car dealer kind of aggressive response to make a deal right now at a certain price. Even before I ...get a chance to respond, he concludes that I am still shopping around and tells me 'forget it. we got off on a wrong foot.' Still scratching my head as to what exactly happened. I am a careful consumer and tend not to give credit card over phone. That's why I was thinking and before even I got chance to speak my mind this guy makes a conclusion and stops talking over phone. Very rude...Not sure if the aggressiveness was called for at a person who is already burdened with the 3 driving related tickets. Just wonder how did he get all these reviews...
