Mark H. Jaffe, Attorney at Law---An exceptionally fine defense attorney On behalf of my wife and myself I would like to express our gratitude and admiration for Mark Jaffe. My wife, distracted by reports of Hurricane Sandy bearing down on us and in view of Governor Christie’s declaration that d...ay of a state of emergency in our state inadvertently violated an unpublicized and virtually unknown traffic law. She was given multiple citations and treated by the policeman in what we considered a disrespectful and totally inappropriate way. Having no experience with the court system and at a loss as to what to do we retained Mark Jaffe. With very little notice and the hearing scheduled for the very next day he met with us, comforted us greatly, explained our situation clearly to us in terms we could understand and outlined his strategy for our defense. At the hearing the next day this matter, which could have gotten a lot more serious, was resolved with only a very small penalty for us---an accomplishment that would have certainly been impossible were we to represent ourselves. Looking back on our highly productive association with Mark Jaffe we can say with no reservations that he is a very fine defense lawyer with a great depth of experience on both prosecution and defense sides of the law, solid connections with relevant law enforcement personnel and an understanding of how to empower potential defendants to feel not intimidated but proud of their rights as Americans. To whomsoever it may concern! I thought I'd take a moment and express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Mark H.
