In short, it MATTERS who you choose to represent you in a court. In retrospect, this statement is self-evident, but I learned this fact the hard way. After receiving a significant speeding ticket, I hired a large firm out of the phonebook. I chose poorly. The attorney (who I’d never spoken to) wa...s late to court, unprepared to negotiate, was unfamiliar with the facts of my case, and did not advocate strongly on my behalf. It was at that point that I parted ways with this firm and hired Mark Jaffe. I chose wisely! My experience with Mark couldn’t have been more opposite of that described above. I would highly recommend Mark Jaffe. I used him within the last 2 months. Mark handled my ticket I received in a traffic incident. My wife, distracted by reports of Hurricane Sandy bearing down on us and in view of Governor Christie’s declaration that d...ay of a state of emergency in our state inadvertently violated an unpublicized and virtually unknown traffic law. She was given multiple citations and treated by the policeman in what we considered a disrespectful and totally inappropriate way.
