There is only one choice when the DCPP becomes involved in your life. Even if the worker, investigator or supervisor is morally sound it still does not make up for the fact that the rules they abide by are broken, they are overworked and there is no possible way they can make a judgment on your Lif...e by filling out a few checklists and getting a couple of references. These people are also obligated by the state to put you into programs where they will receive money, . They are usually burned out and want to punish you for whatever reason they feel Is easiest. They are not educated and they do not have medical or legal degrees to make any kind of assumption on the health and well-being of your child. We need a system in the country to protect our children but CPS a.k.a. the DCPP are not the right choice. They are not governed by anyone but themselves, they do not have random audits done on them, and they have completely legal immunity to do lots of very nasty things to destroy families when they are supposed to be helping them. Jef and his team were very informational, calm and collected, and kept me from worrying throughout the whole case. His demeanor reputation and connections are something that you will desperately want on your side when the DCPP becomes a part of your life. my recommendation would be to retain Jef and also educate yourself on the laws of the state and what the DCP P handbook states. The DCP P advocacy department are not lawyers and do not even know their own state and country laws. Do not wait on retaining a lawyer and do not comply with them unless your lawyer tells you too. Do not think because you are educated, have a nice home , are a good parent, and have great references that the DCPP will be good. They may go after you even harder because of it. GET JEF NOW

I talked to him and hired him for an emancipation case based off of the big game he talks. In court I find out he's going to school ok so a reduction in child support is brought up and shot down because it wasn't filed for with the emancipation. One would think an Attorney they hire would tell their ...client to check that off in the original paper work when filing for emancipation just in case the emancipation wasn't approved but of course he wouldn't be able to make more money that way.

My nephew was placed in emergency foster care in NJ. I contacted Jef within the hour of finding out by phone as we live in NC. From the moment I spoke with Jef he began working to help us get custody of our nephew. Due to the county in NJ we were dealing with things were very difficult but Jef cont...inued to fight for us. We went up to NJ to court in February and it was ruled that we needed to be a licensed foster home to gain custody of our nephew, which in our state is at minimum a 6 month process. This was not acceptable, and Jef said he would do everything possible to get him to us sooner. We were instructed to come back to NJ March 22nd for another court date. Initially the court was going to hold to the fact that we had to be licensed to gain custody even though we weren't requesting any subsidy or support. However, because of Jef and his team, we had him in our arms several hours later. The entire courtroom was in tears because everyone was so happy with the outcome. Because of Jef, we got our boy. Because of Jef, we saved our nephew from the horrors of foster care. That is how Jef literally changed our lives, and we will be forever thankful!
