I hired Mr. Henninger to represent me in a firearm's confiscation case. I met with him personally at his office and explained the issue. I paid his retainer, sent him all the information for which he asked and I was promptly forgotten. I was turned over to one of his Associates, I made contact with t...he new Attorney twice before I was told he was no longer with the firm. I was assigned a new Attorney at that point. I made contact with the new Attorney several times via telephone. I was told he had contacted the Middelsex County Prosecutor regarding my case and that he was awaiting a response from her. This went on for several months during which I was told by the Attorney to call him every two weeks for updates. I called him as HE had requested. He spoke with me three or four times, always with the same excuse that he was still waiting for a response from the Prosecutors office. Eventually, he stopped returning my calls. SO I called the office. The office person told me that he was in court, but she would give him my message and he would call me back. This occurred for about three weeks with no return calls. I finally found a new Attorney who was able to help me get back my property in less than 3 months. My advice is to stay away from Mr. Henninger and associates. I never even received an accounting from his office as to how the retainer was spent.

I contacted Jef back in June of 2016 about my son. The question I had was.....do children get support when going to college part time!!!! Also my health prompted me to take action as well being 64 at the time with a serious heart problem (cardiomyopathy). Anyway Jef filed the motion at the beginning... of September 2016 and by October my son was emancipated and so was I !!!!!!!! Jefs law firm was quick and thorough and there were no hitches. Recent alimony reform in New Jersey was a small step in the right direction but more must be done. For many years I obliged and provided all support for the children including college, cars, etc. But changing times, personal struggles with health, an inflexible court system and a content ex-partner l...eft little hope, not to mention a stupid decision on my part a long time ago with some seriously bad counsel. I felt though I had one more battle in me to find a way. You see, the problem is that where there is a movement afoot to get rid of 'alimony forever', many of these divorce attorneys are also battling against reform. They feed off one of the emotionally distressed partners while the other suffers (and hires another attorney). In searching for someone to stand with me, I encountered quite a few. Thankfully my research led me to Jef. Jef is assisting with getting more reform so he knows the issue, inside and out. He was the best hire I ever made, and I have hired hundreds of people including many attorneys. We discussed the issue, worked as a team, and 7 months later we had resolution. He was always available, communicated well and yes, even his fees were totally transparent and fair. If you are one of thousands who are suffering from these outdated and antiquated laws, even with this most recent reform, I would recommend calling Jef.
