I was fortunate to retain Mike Grasso to represent my case. The state was trying to make an example out of me and there was a plaintiff who was trying to take every last penny from me over a literal fender bender. Charged with 4th degree assault by auto, the prosecutor was firm on trying to impose a ...6 month jail sentence and probation/ parole for years thereafter. Back in 2024 i was pulled over, charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to provide insurance and a .23% BAC just shy of 3 times the legal limit. I was looking at maximum penalties. Disappointed in myself and my actions i was prepared to face a whole year wit...hout a license and god knows how much in fines.
