A Review of the Law Office of Mr. John Sterbick
May 2, 2012 To Whom It May Concern, My name is Ms. Bailey [removed by Avvo Staff]. In 2011 I sought a lawyer for my bankruptcy and found Mr. John Sterbick’s law office. I’ve been exceptionally pleased with their service since the first day. In truth, I spent very little time with Mr. Sterbick h...

Law Offices of John Sterbick
John and and paralegal,Lorelei, both treated me with respect and consideration. They kept me informed of the process while waiting on the slow moving wheels of the IRS. John was able to stop a wage garnishment and set up a reasonable payment plan.

WARNING!!! Don't waste your money
My husband had a corporation and needed a tax attorney for back taxes. When looking for a tax attorney in Tacoma, John Sterbick's website popped up. It looked impressive so we set up an appointment. Hello, We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience. As you know, there is a large binder in our reception area labeled "Good Deeds". The binder is full of the IRS settlements that Mr. Sterbick acquired for his clients. Many people are very stressed when they come into the office. Much of the waiting time you mentioned is waiting on the IRS to respond to Mr. Sterbick's communications with multiple agents, while all the time collection is placed on hold, which can take weeks to months. It sounds to me like one method Mr. Sterbick tried for you did not work, so he needed to try another, thus more fees-which would have been appropriately added via an engagement agreement signed by you. We work very hard to keep our clients happy, although we cannot guarantee what the IRS will do. Please feel free to contact our office so that we can discuss the problems you had with us and move toward resolution.
