I attained Mr. Silver's services earlier this year and I must say this is the most professional, caring and affordable attorney I have ever hired. I consulted with many other lawyers but decided to even pay a bit more than the lowest offer I could find based on the sheer fact that he did not treat me... like a criminal. Other lawyers would be so disrespectful when talking about my case during the free consultation. They basically summed it up to "pay me first then ill answer all your questions", And from my experience once you pay them the retainer fee they magically are hard to get a hold of. That is not the case with Mr.Elliot, he was as helpful before and after receiving the retainer fee, He even let me split up the fee so he could get started on the case and would require the rest of the payment once the motion was filed with the courts. I honestly saw Mr.Elliot as a friend throughout this whole process. I mean he even communicated through txt and was very speedy to reply, any questions I had were just one txt message away. Other lawyers will usually correspond with you through their assistant and barley would give you their time of day. I honestly wish I had hired Mr.Elliot when I was first charged with this crime, Im sure the outcome and stress levels would have been better than the attorney that over charged me and sent her assistant to court instead of herself coming in and defending me. Elliot is an excellent lawyer. He took over my case, after the attorney that was originally assigned to my case was fired by the firm for incompetence. So basically, I had been assured that my case was a slam dunk by the lead attorney of the firm, but then I was given a rookie attorney who was in ove...r his head. Elliot met me at court before one of my hearings and assured me that now that this was his case, he would help me get through it, and he told me not to worry about what had been happening with my previous attorney. I don't want to get into the details of my case, but basically, Elliot has kept in touch with me throughout, he has made sure I'm informed of my options, he has been at my hearings as well as worked tirelessly behind the scenes, as well as he worked with the DA to get me a fair shot at my case. When we return to court this august, I will have an infraction, rather than a criminal conviction.(I truly believe that had Elliot been my attorney from day one, he would have had this case dismissed). Given what he started with, he did as he had assured me he would. I decided not to take my case to trial, only because I am tired and ready to move on with my life.
