Keenan Webb and Elliot Silver helped me win my case. They saw me as a human being, not a criminal. I got a dui 14 years ago, and when Keenan asked for a specific sentence the Judge looked at me like "you were bad in in 2008-09, your still bad now. Told me I needed to go to extra meetings! Like come o...n I did 3 years of the worst sentence possible plus 3 years of fees that I AM still paying off to this day. The criminal justice system needs to SEE people as HUMAN BEINGS. Human beings make mistakes, most of them learn from those mistakes and move on, live normal lives, get married, have kids, go to church every Sunday. I would like to commend the Silver Law Firm, especially attorneys Tom McMahon and Elliot Silver, for their excellent efforts in working to secure my release from pre-trial incarceration. I had been held for over five months without bail on a first offense of a criminal charge. I had previously hire...d another attorney from a different firm to represent me in my case, but he could do nothing to effect my release from jail. I finally contacted the Silver Law Firm and both Mr. McMahon and Mr. Silver worked assiduously to secure my release in an emergency bail hearing. I was finally released on a "supervised own recognizance program".
