Jonah was very communicative from the start, and was able to get me added to SF calendar quickly, so I flew in/out f...or court in the same day. I hired Jonah to help a family member who was charged with several counts: drug posession, domestic violence, gun possession, and child endangerment. Really messy case and we needed a good criminal defense lawyer. Jonah handled the case really well and was extremely responsive and professional. Whe...n we were looking for an attorney in San Francisco we met with a lot of really inexperienced criminal lawyers that we found on Yelp. They talked a good game but really you can tell that they were just trying to get our money. Jonah’s not like that at all. He was really up front with us about the cost and was reasonable. Your money goes a long way with Jonah, and worth every penny because he’s got 20 years of criminal law experience to back it up!

Was in dire need of a lawyer for my case so I contacted the law offices of Jonah Chew. Without going into too much detail, I can say that Jonah displayed a level of unparalleled professionalism throughout this long, tiring ordeal. Mr Chew was non-judgmental but also personable and made me feel lik...e I could reach out to him whatever time of day. Despite his heavy caseload he made sure to take the time to make sure whatever needs or questions I had at the time were addressed and always feeling re-assured and in good hands. Overview: Exceptional Experience... This review is for Jonah Chew. This was our family's first experience with a lawyer. With so many options and the difficult circumstances of the case, it seemed daunting to settle for ONE attorney to advocate for our family member. Based on a combination of Jonah'...s experience and education, track record, professionalism, and personality we trusted him as the most qualified for the best outcome; we do not regret our decision! Jonah guided us through the entire process, giving us invaluable advice and instilling confidence even before we officially hired him. Jonah is very reliable and responsive; you'll never have to wait long to hear back from him through phone, text, or email. The Case: Multiple DUI's... This 2nd DUI, within a 10-year period, resulted in an auto-collision. Our family member had a (potential) 3rd DUI that fell out of the 10-year period, but nonetheless was unfavorable as it is still on the driving record. The Outcome: A Very Favorable Sentence... Jonah and his team achieved the most favorable sentence considering the circumstances. In lieu of jail time and a hefty fine, the sentence included: 8 days of community service, a reasonable fine, completion of an 18-month OHS program, and license suspension (unavoidable) for just 1 year. Note: Jonah also successfully negotiated the removal of an expensive alcohol-monitoring (SCRAM) device.
