I’ve started this review over and over just trying to find the right words and discovered there are no words to express our gratitude for Richard. However I will name a few, very knowledgeable, caring, great listener, available, gets the job over done, professional, great disposition, can handle any ...situation even though it may seem bleak he has a plan and makes it happen. Very straight forward and puts you at ease. I’d put my life in his hands type of man. I can’t thank him enough for the outcome of my sons case who was facing 23 years and is coming home in less than four.

I was a full time worker and college student, but then I decided to quit my job to pursue my career. I did so and unluckily I was arrested with the suspicion of driving under the influence while I was actually sober! The cops were out to get me it seemed and to make matters worse the cops lied about ...me denying a chemical test so it made it impossible to prove I was sober. The case was taken as a denial so I was immediately under pressure by the DMV and the dui conviction because of that. Frantic, and with no money since I quit my full time job, I went around Bakersfield looking for a lawyer that could help me. I literally talked to the best lawyers in town and no one was willing to help. They said that I was at a high possibility to lose the case because they didn't believe I was sober; the chemical test denial made it a really tough case. I've never been arrested or have a record of any kind but I felt like I had to convince everyone the cops lied I was losing hope; until I looked up Mr. Middlebrook and just went for it. I talked to him about my case and he instantly was on board. Not only was he on board, but he was straightforward with me about the case and what we were up against. He even went above and beyond to help me be able to pay for his services knowing I was a student with no money. He believed in me and not once did I have to show up to any of the hearings for the DMV or the court; he took care of everything. I worked two jobs at a time and some odd jobs to be able to fight for my case, but he made it possible to get the plea deal I got. The deal is to practically dismiss everything with one year probation no fees, classes or license suspension!!! I understand every outcome is relative to its own circumstances, but a denial case with no evidence to support my stance he did what others said couldn't be done. The office staff has always been very supportive of my case and show genuine care about my whereabouts. I am very glad I contacted Richard; he is the reason I was able to drive my car throughout the long and arduous journey that I can now leave behind me: thank you!!

I don't typically find free time to post reviews, but I feel this is far too important not to share. I called and spoke to several attorneys in Bakersfield before choosing one that was cheaper than Mr. Middlebrook. I don't know what your situation is, but for me my future, family and job were on the line and I couldn't afford not to hire him.
