From the day that I walked into meet with Jeff and Dayn it has been a pleasurable experience. I was forced to hire an attorney when my ex filed a motion for full custody of our daughter even though I had been the custodial parent since birth . After making a few calls to law offices I made an appoi...ntment to meet with Dayn Holstrom.. I have worked with Dayn, Jeff and Mariana throughout my case and I have never been disappointed. I was very comfortable with each of them. I never felt nervous at any time throughout my case. Before I hired them, I was representing myself and it has been very scary. They did a great job in representing me and won my custody case for me. I have an upcoming support hearing and I am comforted by the fact that I know I have great representation. Dayn agreed to work with me financially. Had he not done this I would have been fighting this battle alone. Dayn’s firm is the first and only attorney I have used. I will never use another firm in the future either. Comfort is very important to me and every person in that office makes me feel comfortable. This is a great feeling.

I first hired Mr. Holstrom in April of 2010 to help negotiate a visitation schedule for me. After hours of being emotional exhausted and getting nowhere with my ex and his attorney, Mr. Holstrom stepped in and got me the results that I could have never got on my own. He did not back down and fough...t for me. I then hired him to finish the rest of my divorce. I never had to second guess why Mr. Holstrom was doing what he was doing nor did I question his motives. Experience and compassion for me and my kids was what I got.

I had read Dayn's reviews and based on the reviews I decided to contact him, as my attorney's at the time (reputable big firm in Newport Beach) were doing nothing and I couldn't keep putting up $25k retainers; and had already spent over $130k with that particular firm. Since I was being bled dry and... never got anywhere beyond a temp. stipulation, I started seeking out other attorneys as respondent was not following the temp. stipulation and I needed someone to take action and it wasn't happening. As mentioned, I spoke with Dayn on the phone; and in our extensive phone conversation I decided to meet with him personally at his office and retain him. He seemed to be what I was looking for in an attorney, He seemed knowledgeable and aggressive. Upon my arrival at their Irvine office, I was put into the conference room and Dayn and Carrie Block walked in. I didn't think anything about it at first, as I know there are always attorney's who help out with each case...and my case was complex dealing with properties, custody, as well as breach of fiduciary duty, along with non-compliance of the temporary stip and order, etc. At the end of our meeting Dayn slyly said that Carrie is a very good and knowledgeable family court attorney and she will be taking on your case. and I am in good hands. When he said that...I was not happy, to say the least. Why wouldn't he tell me this in our phone conversation? Again, I contacted Dayn, not Carrie. SMH Ok...fine, I thought I will TRUST him. Big mistake...I should've walked out when that happened. Once again...spent over $32k and not once got into court. Needless to say....I had to find another attorney. Not happy at all and do not recommend.
