Exceptional Legal Representation – Highly Recommend

I retained Robert Miller for legal filings that required meticulous attention to detail and strong courtroom execution. He exceeded expectations on both fronts. Legal Knowledge & Strategy: Robert demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the issues and crafted filings that were thorough and strate...gically sound. The successful outcome speaks to his legal acumen. Communication & Responsiveness: Excellent throughout. Robert kept me informed at each stage, responded promptly to questions, and ensured I understood the process. Team & Support: His support staff is professional and well-organized, which contributed significantly to the smooth handling of my matter. Results: The filings were successful, achieving the outcome we sought. I would confidently refer Robert Miller to anyone seeking experienced legal counsel in Newport Beach. His combination of legal skill and client-focused service sets him apart. (Note: I understand I am posting this anonymously. Normally, I'd like to 'put my name on it.' In this case it is best if I don't. But, rest assured, I am a real person/client who is very appreciative of Robert's work.)

Worst Attorney Ever. What a nightmare

Do not hire Robert Miller. He was the worst attorney I’ve ever dealt with. Before any charges were even filed against me, he went and met with the District Attorney, which brought attention to my case right away. I feel like he did that just so he could get my money. He told me that I had up to a yea...r before charges would be filed, but after he contacted the DA, they filed them almost immediately. He never briefed me on anything or explained what he was doing. He told me to “let him do his job,” but he wasn’t doing anything to actually help me. When I asked him to get crucial video evidence for my defense, he told me it was too early and he would wait for pre-trial, which didn’t make sense because evidence is time-sensitive. He never brought up that I was coerced even though I told him that was part of my defense. He only argued probable cause and ignored the rest of my side of the story. Every time he emailed me, it was just a generic template with wrong dates, and he never went over the evidence with me. He told me to review it myself, even though I didn’t understand any of it. That’s what I was paying him for. During my DMV hearing, he lost my case and blamed the hearing officer for “not knowing the law,” but honestly, I don’t think he explained anything in a clear or strong way. After all this, I asked for a refund because he didn’t fight for me at all, but instead he told me that I still owed him more money. Then, even after I fired him, he tried to take more money out of my account. He also gave me a copy of his billing logs, but they were basically empty, just vague entries with no real work shown. He also told me he had 17 other cases to handle, which explained why he never handled my situation with care, but it’s no excuse for neglecting your client. He made my situation worse, took my money, and left me feeling alone and betrayed. If you are looking for an attorney who actually cares about you and will fight for your rights, do NOT hire Robert Miller.

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. I understand that legal matters can be deeply stressful and emotional, and I truly regret that you felt unsupported during such a challenging time. Every decision we make on a case is guided by professional judgment, legal strategy, and the best interests of the client. Communication with the District Attorney’s office is a requirement in the case, especially when a case is pending, to get valuable information on filing, address concerns before charges are filed, or explore potential resolutions, never to harm a client or advance a case prematurely. In your case, the prosecutor filed the case as the police had said they would, within the statute of limitations for your case. I also appreciate that legal processes can feel overwhelming or confusing, and if my communication at any point left you feeling unclear or unheard, I sincerely apologize. I always strive to ensure my clients understand their options, the stages of their case, and the reasons behind each legal move. If that wasn’t your experience, I take that feedback seriously and we always will continue to improve. Regarding billing and documentation, we had a flat fee agreement, which was nonrefundable. However, as you know, our written agreement requires us to account for every minute spent on your case, and I accounted for all our phone calls, our emails, and our discussions accurately, with the aim to provide transparent and accurate records of all time spent and work performed. If any part of that was unclear, I would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss or clarify it further, and my email inbox or phone is always open to you. While I respectfully disagree with many of the characterizations in your review, I understand that your perception reflects your personal experience. I wish you the best in resolving your legal matters and in moving forward. Sincerely, Robert Miller Attorney at Law

Excellent!

I hired Robert to successfully terminate my informal probation and expunge a previous DUI conviction. Robert was a class act and professional the whole way through. He made me feel comfortable knowing that I hired the right guy, and took the time to discuss and respond to any and all of the questions... that I had. I gave him the basic information about my case and he took care of everything else. I highly recommend his services!

Best DUI in Orange County

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to Robert Miller. My ex-husband was arrested for a DUI. All we could think about was how this could destroy his life (he faced a potential termination of a 15 year career) and impact our son. I found Robert Miller and spoke to him on the phone. What struck ...me was how quickly he responded to my request for a call, and his professional demeanor and thoughtfulness. We later met him in person to ask him more follow-up questions. In a time of incredible uneasiness and anxiety, he did a great job of keeping in contact. He always answered our emails and calls, and kept us informed of the case’s developments. In the end, he delivered our highest expectations. He successfully got dismissed both the DMV case AND the criminal case. He is a fantastic attorney who understands professional client service and works your case with as much dedication as you can hope.
