I was referred to Allisons firm by a friend/mentor in the Hydroponic industry. I was charged with 2 Felonies: Possession with intent to sell and Transport, both being for Medical Marijuana. I was represented by both Allison Margolin and her partner Raza Lawrence. I had used two different attorneys pr...eviously and was not happy with either of them (the first was a friend-of-a-friend for all of the super basic continuances early on then I switched to an older "reputable" gentleman who is not worth mentioning (suffice it to say he is well known in the industry but sadly not what he once was). I hired Allisons firm after the second attorney failed (along with his "expert witness" Bill Brit) during my preliminary hearing. The first thing Allison and Lawrence attempted was a pitchess motion which while earnestly fought was not won. Then they filed a 995 motion which also was unsuccessful. The motion that ended up winning the case was the motion to suppress evidence. Not only were both charges DISMISSED but I have now filed a civil suit against the police department as a result of Allison and Lawrence getting the cop to admit to a violation of my 4th amendment rights on the stand!!!!! It was a brilliant thing to watch. Now I am still 100% criminal record free and currently the Regional Manager of Southern Californias largest Hydroponic company. I owe a great deal of where I am right now as well as my sanity to Allison and her team. A big thanks to them.
