Robert Helfend Is by far the best attorney I have ever hired. Ok so where do I begin? You think you do the 'right' things when you are dealing with a cybercrime/ID theft/bank fraud. But turned out I did not. Mistakenly I thought I had done 'everything' correctly only to be confronted with charges with the very same things I was almost victimized with the first... time. Long story short? I was scared and horrified beyond belief that I had to deal with being turned from a victim into perpetrator as I had found a court summons in my mail one day of the very same allegations that a yr before before I had fought against. I almost been turned into a victim for this incident that I thought I had put to rest. Like anybody seeking this type of help, I did a ton of research and found Mr. Helfend and actually had a recommendation for him (my cousin is a lawyer and knew him by reputation and said hire this guy) For six months I didn't know what was going to happen to me as to what my fate was going to be. Even though Mr Helfend offered me consolation of what could happen, what he was doing, who he was talking to etc. But still, there are weird parts of your brain that can take over with thoughts that nagged me as to what could happen as to what my fate would be. He was 'incredibly' patient as time passed as the 'system' almost failed me on an epic level. As he had dealt with the courts, who disregarded the evidence I already had, He forced my accusers to acknowledge that I had evidence already which he submitted for me when I gave it too him and that I had fought back and then some, of which he did the same for me as my accusers vainly adhered to the charges that were brought against me, which were found out have distorted sentences/words and false facts that were brought forth by a 2nd party. In the end I thank him for helping me retain my sanity and is truly a saint among us mortals that has a passion for fighting for people who are innocent of crimes and the allegations that are brought against them and actually found 'extra' evidence (that I didn't know about that supported my innocence that I didn't know existed) to support what I already had and still questioned my accusers 'every' step of the way when they tried to refute every little thing. So long story short? I was ultimately found innocent. This man is also a saint for the patience he had, for knowing the frustration, fear and the insanity I was feeling and I will never forget that. What more can you ask for than a person who has serious passion for what he does? Only great person at what he does for living with a gift for this type of knowledge and will fight to the bitter end. If there was some way that this website could give someone a 10 star rating on this site I would, but I'll be content with a 5 star rating.

I had an unfortunate encounter in a solicitation case and Robert did a truly masterful job of getting the case dismissed before it was even filed with the judge and then subsequently was successful at getting my record sealed which is pretty challenging to do given my court case wasn’t even taken bef...ore a judge but he was able to pull it off and I am eternally grateful for all of his help. As I’m sure you know these situations are tremendously stressful and I had a lot of questions given I had never previously been in trouble with the law and Robert did a wonderful job of holding my hand through this process and walking me through all the steps and giving me confidence that this matter would go away. I had called around to a number of places initially and a lot of these intake centers like to use scare tactics to get you to sign up with them but Robert was calm, straight forward and transparent and that honesty and “bed-side manner” carried through after hiring him as well. Robert Helfend represented my case from start to end. He literally drove out to meet with me in person several times and handled my case in a very professional manner in which he always told me the truth and what to expect. Several years ago, I made a mistake and was willing to face my penalties but ...not without professional help. Since I have never broken any laws, this was my first time offence. Robert Helfend was able to keep me out of prison, and pro-long the case enough for me to make proper arrangements. At the end I pleaded guilty and instead of serving years of prison time, I was given the following: 1. One year of "in-house" jail which is a local community near my home where I was able to continue to go to work but live at this apartment looking complex 2. make restitution payments back to company I took from 3. of course 3 years probation 4. eligible for felony to be reduce to misdemeanor upon all conditions met especially paying back all restitution. I followed all the court obligations and after three years Robert Helfend represented me again for my pen code 1203.4 and got my sentence reduce from felony to misdemeanor.
