Elliot...ABSOLUTELY

Since I’m not an expert in choosing legal assistance, I was not entirely sure what first steps to take in the vetting process for selection, but I can most certainly say that as I made many phone calls to numerous attorneys none of them were as thorough, reassuring and accommodating as Elliot Zarabi.... I had so many questions prior to selecting my legal aid and he answered each and every one of them without any pressure to come to his office and secure his services with a fee first. He gained my confidence and trust with his honesty and compassion. Also, for me most importantly, at such a difficult time, he did not judge me. Given the unfortunate circumstances I found myself to be in, Elliot simplified the legal process for me and walked me through the required legal proceedings every step of the way. He constantly kept me abreast of any of the slightest changes in my case, and every time I reached out to him with a question, he was available to speak with me and answer my questions, or got back with me in a very timely manner via phone and/or email. In addition, it was very clear that Elliot’s driving force in pursuit of justice on my behalf was not monetary. He is very affordable and understanding. A few times I can recall coming to his office discouraged and in tears because I thought my situation was hopeless, but by the time I left I had a smile on my face and confidence that everything would work out exactly as it should…and it did. From a perspective of accountability, honesty and reality, total dismissal of my charges was not likely but Elliot chiseled away at the multiple charges I was being accused of, got everything reduced down to pretty much nothing and I came out unscathed and winning. I’ll always have to live with any and all consequences for my actions, but Elliot surely helped me avoid the impact of what could have easily been a catastrophic blow to my young adult life.

This guy for your DUI

Being a first time dui offender i was very hesitant on who i should hire as my legal representative. Being a college student i was on a very tight budget without the offense so i searched on for a confident, knowledgable, and understanding but financially affordable lawyer. Elliot checked out in all ...of the above. After talking with 3 lawyers prior Elliot; i gave him a call, threw my case at him, he heard me out, then i hired him minutes before my dmv hearing that he handled fairly well. After hearing me out he confidently said, "you have a strong case." Getting a dui is already unfortunate. In my case it was not only unfortunate but it was even more devastating whent it was an avoidable situation. i was sadly at the wrong place at the wrong time. After leaving restraunt having a couple drinks, a couple friends and i left to get a case of beer from the store in the same plaza. After checking out, i get in my car only to roll down my window to a civilian male saying, "you are too drunk to be driving." i did not know this man. after him lecturing me for a couple minutes, i get out of my car and said, "i dont know you, why are you harrassing me?" he responded with, "either get in my car or i am calling the police." surely enough i should have called the police myself however i took the initiative to drive off in fear of getting into his car. driving off i thought i could get away from him because he followed me out of the parking lot chasing me down the road. though i know i was going far past the speed limit i know for a fact i took all legal right turns, yet he states in his statememnt i blew through red lights. moments after i was pulled over by torrance police and was given a sobriety test and a breathalizer where i blew a .12. afterwards i was given a blood test at torrance memorial for accurate blood alcohol level which came out to be a .10. come to find out at c ourt the folowing day the civilian wrote a statememnt against me during my arrest but failed to mention the incident in the parking lot. After elliot heard my case i hired him because he sounded confident in his work. He got me 4months suspension of my license which would have been so much more if i had gone with a public defeander; it could have been a years loss of license. i am allowed a restricted license until march with a mandatory alcohol class and the breathalizer installed into an insured vehicle. in my crimiinal case, i was given a handful of alochol related classes i have to take with minimal fines instead of a months jail time and maximum fines plus a handful of community service. i am thankful beyond belief that i dont have to sit behind bars for that long. The best part of hiring elliot even though i was hoping for a dismissal of the charge was that he was able to bring my charge down to ta wet and reckless rather than a dui! i was given 36 months probation along with the wet and reckless and after that i can have elliot expunge my charge. For a lawyer that did not specialize in dui's he surely did the best he could. We were in and out at my final court appearance with a deal breaker. I would hire elliot again in the future if it came down to it hopefully i wont be running into the law any time soon. This guy is a confident, hard working, and easy going individual. He will definately be one of southbay's most respectable and finest attorneys if he isnt already.

Excellent attorney!

When you get arrested one of the first things that run through your head is what am i going to do? Well one of the first things you need to do is seek legal help and Elliot is that kind of person you want to call. I was charged with two misdemeanors of resisting arrest and later on for charged for po...ssession of a controlled substance (not marijuana) back in March of 2012. I was inundated with attorney mail, offering me legal help and quite honestly did not know who to choose. So i called around, got free consultations and with some attorney's i just didn't feel like they really wanted to help me but just take my money. I called Elliot Zarabi and even in the first phone call i felt like he really wanted to take my case and help. I met with him, explained my case, and was explained how this process works. Right then i knew Elliot was somebody i wanted to work with and i hired him. I was in a place where money was a problem but Elliot worked with me in order to help my resolve my case. During those first few months like anyone i was worried, stressed, and not knowing what would happen but Elliot assured me that i should just relax, not worry and let him handle everything. Surely enough after a few months, i finally received a call from Elliot receiving great news. The two charges against me were dropped to an infraction and a fine. I am relieved, happy, and appreciative of Elliot's work. He worked with me throughout the whole process explaining any questions or concerns i had. Anytime i had a question he was always a phone call away and never too busy for his clients. Extremely recommend this attorney for all your criminal defense needs! Elliot is a good guy and will work with you to get the best outcome!

A Second Chance In Life

I have 4000 characters to write? Where do I begin. I met Mr. Zarabi back in Mid April a few days after I was arrested for felony vandalism and conspiracy to commit a crime. I wrote a question on this website and he was one of the first to get in touch with me and I gave him a call. After calling s...everal lawyers previously, I strongly felt that Mr. Zarabi was there for me and not for the money. He was more into the process of reducing charges way before even discussing a price. It was a STEAL! The price was way better than expected and it was not even his concern. Mr. Zarabi's concern is you! He went ahead and spoke to the DA within the first few weeks of hiring him. At first the filing deputy was leaning to helping us out until he had discovered what all had gone down that night I was arrested. He then became livid and would not budge and pursued changing the charges to 87 counts of vandalism with 25 felonies and 62 misdemeanors. The filing deputy was also requesting a bail increase to 43,000$ with state prison for something I felt was not necessary for prison. Mr. Zarabi comforted me for hours on hours on hours day and night whether it was 3 a.m. and I was having depression. He would answer my text no matter what time it was. Mr. Zarabi answered probably over 1000 text messages. He assured me that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I felt that I was going to be screwed because of the filing attorneys vendetta he had towards me. Mr. Zarabi's plan was to transfer my case to Veterans Court in order to get a lighter sentence. On the first arraignment my bail was to be raised to 43,000$. Mr. Zarabi brought a bail bondsmen in order to keep me out of jail in case. Due to the request for the transfer to veterans court, Mr. Zarabi was able to get my bail review sent to veterans court as well. The bail was there kept at the same it was before and I was not charged anymore money. We were unsuccessful at Veterans court once we transferred strictly because of no nexus that the judge was looking for. There we were sent back to our original court 2 months after the first arraignment. Here we had a 2nd arraignment that had no bail review and was just a plea of not guilty. When Mr. Zarabi entered to talk about settling that day one of the men in the courtroom stated this was a prison case and there would be no settling. Mr. Zarabi did not give up. He kept me looking towards the light and we kept heading towards the end of the tunnel together. Once the last court hearing was upon us, I was praying to be given a second chance for something that shouldn't be able to ruin my life. Mr. Zarabi entered that courtroom with his head held high and spoke with the DA who was given my case after returning from Veterans Court. After fighting for my rights for several months, Mr. Zarabi was able to reduce my charges from 87 counts to 1 count of vandalism. I am currently serving 3 years of probation with 180 days of work release which I chose house arrest. This offering was one in a million and I could not turn it down. Mr. Zarabi fought months to get this plea for me, and I took it without thinking twice. My probation will more than likely stop after a year on good terms and I will be able to continue with my life. I went from looking at a prison sentence that would ruin my life; to a probation sentence that would grant me a 2nd chance. Never take life for granted. Mr. Zarabi can and WILL make sure you cherish life because of the efforts he makes to help you. Your life is his life to him and he treats it as such. He will not promise you anything he cannot 100% confirm. That is why he is my first and probably my last but GREATEST lawyer I could have prayed for. He will not lie to you and spit nonsense. He will tell you what you are looking at and what he will do. And by DAMN he sure did what he said he would. There was a light at the end of the tunnel, and Mr. Zarabi was able to help me get to it. Thank you Elliot, I owe you plenty of drinks!
