In asking about a good criminal defense attorney, Mr. Bergeron's name was given. I contacted him and imagine my surprise when he answered his own phone (and did every time I called). Upon explaining my situation to him, he stopped me midway and told me the rest of my story. Be it a common situati...on or not, he clearly had experience in that area of the law. I was impressed. I was able to ask questions and get advice. He was very patient with me when I asked the same questions over and over for clarification. He gave me his undivided attention, even when the call lasted over an hour or two. Instead of saying "hire me", he told me that I would be okay with the public defender that I was assigned, but that I could call him and continue to consult with him about my case. Who does that?
