Byron went above and beyond my expectations. This was my very first time dealing with a criminal case and as such knew absolutely nothing. The PD’s office did the least possible to explain or help us understand the ins and outs regarding my nephews charges/case. Although Byron was unable to directly represent us in this case, he directed me to a very good known lawyer for further assistance. I was struck by Byron Bergeron's generosity, expertise, and knowledge in federal sentencing guidelines, how the law works,and how the law sees things. He generously gave almost 2 hours of his time educating my family and I on the law, adv...ised us in our situation, and graciously, respectfully declined the case based on his belief that the sentence was fairer than could be expected by the efforts of any lawyer and to take our money wouldn't be right as he didn't expect that it could be benefited through retaining council.
