Would not recommend this attorney

Mr. Randazza was employed by my company as General Counsel for approximately 3 years as our General Counsel. We recently concluded litigation against this attorney (a 2.5 year binding arbitration), and the judge's ruling determined Mr. Randazza had committed (in the judge's words) "clear and serio...us breaches of fiduciary duty". Our experience - and the judge's ruling - was that Randazza engaged in a host of actions prohibited by the professional rules of conduct, including negotiations for monetary payment to him directly from opposing parties in litigation. He'd also taken on numerous clients whose interests were adverse to ours (conflicts of interest) without disclosing them to us, and without informed written consent. Specifically, Mr. Randazza was tasked with protecting our copyrights. During a suit with a party who had been violating our copyrights, it was discovered that Mr. Randazza pursued a $75,000 bribe from the opposing party in exchange for conflicting himself out of future representation against them. Subsequent discovery revealed this was a pattern Mr. Randazza had engaged in. Mr. Randazza's actions following one specific settlement with an opposing party in copyright litigation resulted in that opposing party filing suit over Mr. Randazza's violations of the settlement agreement. This led to our having to settle with this opposing party, at considerable expense. In another instance, Mr. Randazza actually took on as a client another website/company who repeatedly violating our copyrights without disclosing this to us. This rendered us entirely unable to pursue this company for their repeated violations of our copyrights, because Mr. Randazza clandestinely represented them. Mr. Randazza's willingness to engage in conflicts like the above caused us considerable harm, as the attorney we'd hired to pursue protection of our intellectual property rights was either unwilling or enable to do precisely that, instead - as the arbitrator ruled - unjustly enriching themselves at our expense. Further complications arose as a result of Mr. Randazza’s actions. Mr. Randazza wiped his company laptop of all our client files and data, did not release to us close to $600,000 in client files being held in his trust account, and refused for a considerable amount of time to hand over our client legal files following his resignation. I would not recommend this attorney at all.

Much of this is outright lies, the rest is misrepresentation. There was no "judge" in this, just a biased arbitrator, who this company paid a hell of a lot of money to, and go figure, they got the decision they paid for. I could refute this point by point, but I won't. Doing so would require me, in part, to violate attorney-client privilege, and despite what this lowlife has to say, I don't do that. But, look at the reviews here and make up your mind. The word "bribe" gets tossed around. This was a "retainer." Opposing party wanted to hire me after the litigation was over. I told them that would be just fine, but there would be a significant payment for that representation. Is that a "bribe?" No sir. What really happened here was my employer refused to pay what it owed me, and I was forced to arbitrate, rather than get real due process in court. I bless the day that I did not have to work for this lowlife anymore, and wish the best of luck to anyone foolish enough to do so. If this "review" is persuasive to you, hire another attorney. I am just relieved that I no longer have to associate with this scumbag.

So Much Help

Mr. Randazza, and his entire firm, are a class act. I was treated with respect, and kindness. Either Mr. Randazza himself, or his wonderful assistant would get back to me minutes after I emailed them. That's amazing. My case was not ''big'' but it was very personal. Most Attorneys didn't even bot...her calling me back. So I was amazed by the personal attention from The Randazza Law Group. The information I got from him helped me tremendously in dealing with the company in question. After speaking with Mr. Randazza I was fully armed. I would not hesitate in either hiring Mr. Randazza, or recommending this law office to anyone with a legal problem. Mr. Randazza is a straight shooter, an honest person and above all you feel important when you deal with him, not just another case.

Quick and effective

I suppose my issue was non-traditional, as I was a not-named party to a lawsuit based on twitter comments (it was someone else who got sued, my comments were part of a list of tweets entered as evidence in motions). Because it was a default judgement, I ended up getting a letter telling me to stop sa...ying mean things (about an abusive man). Enter Marc. With a letter to the abuser's attorney my worries about getting sued (or even arrested on a contempt of court charge) went away, while still retaining my anonymity... Marc was at all times respectful (to both me and opposing counsel) and professional. I would hire Marc again in a heartbeat if I were to find myself on the receiving end of a lawsuit.

Great attorney for a very ugly case

Marc Randazza has worked on a number of free speech cases for us. In fact, this last year, we had a "bet the company" case, a very ugly and contentious case involving First Amendment rights and Section 230. Marc proved himself to be a real fighter that defended us vigorously through 14 months of he...ll, even though the other side started personally attacking his reputation, and even sued him personally to try and make him give up the fight on our behalf. Marc stuck with us through it all, and in the end, we came out victorious. More details about the case can be assessed from Marc's profile on our site http://www.pissedconsumer.com/static/legal-information/marc-randazza.html After that we were so pleased with him, that we hired Marc on a constant retainer, and we are happy to have such a strong First Amendment and Section 230 Attorney on our side.

Marc is my Trademark and Free Speech Lawyer

When you hire Marc Randazza as your free speech lawyer, people listen. I have been threatened with multiple lawsuits. When they realize Marc was my lawyer, they understood any lawsuit against me would be vigorously defended. Marc Randazza has been my lawyer in a lengthy and complicated defamation... lawsuit (which we won) and in my trademark application before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (application approved). Marc has also been my legal counsel in pre-litigation matters and has advised me about other lawsuit threats. Fortunately those matters were avoided. I understand his acumen better than most, I am also a lawyer. Thus you could ever consider Randazza to be a "lawyer's lawyer." I have referred clients to Marc would trust him with my life.
