Warren Geller and Frank Cofer saved my life. I was falsely accused with seven category A felonies. Kidnapping, Sexual Assault with substantial bodily harm, 2x Sexual Assault, 3x Battery with intent to Sexual Assault. Each of these seven charges carries a life sentence. My bail was $500,000(Not a ty...po). Not being able to bail out, I was stuck in jail for almost 2 months. This summer I made some bad decisions that could have ruined my life. I went from having a clean record to having 3 felonies! For a couple of months I had depression because I thought I'd be stuck working a minimum-wage job for the rest of my life because of my dirty record... Throughout the trail Mr. Geller outmaneuvered and out-lawyered the prosecutor. While the State had an uphill battle to convict on the evidence, the execution of the defense was still required. At one point, a grandfatherly and benign appearing witness began a series of spontaneous utterances which bore no relation to the truth as a simple battery became intent to commit murder in this witnesses’ mind. Mr. Geller skillfully batted away this curveball. In the end, Mr. Geller “won” as the law and the facts dictated I should.
