I would like to begin with an infinite Thank You to Charles Slack Mendez for representing me so well in court and winning my case in a two day jury trial in the Superior Court of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, March 12 & 13 of 2019. I had 2 rear end truck accidents (got rear ended on my trucks) accident...s 2017. The first accident was cordergly settled. The second accident of June 26, 2017 which occured on I-10 and Speedway, northbound on ramp was dragged for almost two years. It was eventually scheduled to go to trial. The court trial was Amazing. Some politics involved but overall the judge was great and impartial. The defendants' lawyers brought in an "Expert" with 30 years experience as a private investigator and was a retired 20 year Tucson policeman. Charles pinpointed that "Expert" never recovered the "Black Box" in the truck that rear ended me which was a 2009 F150 pickup rear ending my 1998 truck. It was totally awesome and fascinating to get great counsel from Mr. Slack-Mendez and a thrill to see how he strategically questioned the defendant and their counsel as well. Overall the high percentage of favor to us was a total blessing after all things considered and the the verdict was read 60%-40% in our favor. It is public record please research.

Mr. Slack-Mendez represented me in a complex personal injury case and he did not try to convince me to accept an offer he did not think was reasonable. He clearly was willing to invest his time on my case and fearlessly fought for me. He got me much more than what they wanted to pay. I've known Charles since 2009 when I first hired him to represent me on my first DUI charge. I find him to be a very skilled attorney with a lot of defense case experiences throughout the valley. My first DUI case lasted only two months due to a delay with the BAC blood test result. Realizing this d...elay and missing evidence was potentially violating a speedy trial, Charles ultimately made a decisive action and requested a motion to dismiss. The judge considered the delay and approved the motion to dismiss. My second DUI charge occurred in June of 2019 in Phoenix and without any hesitation, I quickly contacted his law firm for an appointment. I didn't want to waste any time shopping around for a DUI attorney when I already know he's dependable and charges a reasonable rate. He quickly called me Monday morning to hear my situation. We eventually met in person to discuss my incident in details and moved forward with my case. Once we received the discovery, he carefully analyzed it and looked into every possible option. He created a plan and made multiple requests for the prosecutors to drop the charge. However, due to the severity of my DUI case, which contained additional charges, he strategically negotiated with them to reduce the charges. The plea bargain was a super deal and I was very satisfied. Going through this was pretty tough, but Charles was always there for me whenever I had questions or concerns. He always responded quickly whenever I had a question. He felt like an older brother that truly cared about my situation. I don't expect to get any other DUI charges in the future, but if I need him to represent on anything else, I'll be sure to go to him again!
