Great lawyer

She helped me with everything from the start from what to wear a what to say. I had a class three and class six felony and she was able to get them dropped to one misdemeanor. The state wanted to give me three years of probation and she got it down to two years. I would definitely recommend her to a...nyone in need of legal help.

Compassionate & Intelligent Lawyer, Excellent Choice.

I called Michelle Bell the day after I was arrested for DUI to see what my options were; I had a CDL and needed to protect it more than a regular license because it would directly affect my driving job. Michelle was very professional, knowledgeable and provided me with a game plan to reduce my senten...ce down so that I could keep my CDL and continue my career after the trial. I had contacted her slightly panicked due to the stress of the DUI during the process and she empathized and put me at ease while explaining potential outcomes. In court, she was able to get the sentence reduced to a reckless, I am able to use my CDL again now and would recommend her to anyone going through the DUI/DWI experience, great lawyer!

From felony to aggravated assault

After taking hold of a police officers finger, and then moving it aside because he was waving it in front of my face, I was put in some sort of defensive police hold, handcuffed, taken to jail and charged with a felony assault. I am a 57 year old 100 lb. house wife who had a little too much to d...rink. I was referred to Michelle to get some legal defense. Michelle wrote a couple of deviation requests, went back and forth with two different prosecutors, and continued to reject pleas that were inappropriate for the situation. I flew back and forth between states once a month to get new court dates, go to hearings and learn of my options. Finally we met for a settlement hearing with a judge and the prosecutor. When the prosecutor would not lift the felony charge my lawyer went into "Rambo mode." She basically let the prosecutor know that if she didn't change her mind we would go to trial and she would shred the officer on the stand. A couple of weeks later the felony was lifted and we had an agreement. I would plea guilty to a no injury aggravated assault charge. I would do no jail time, pay no fines, and my probation would be unsupervised. That meant I didn't have to call or report to anyone and I could do it from my home state. Then of course, there was another court date which Michelle decided to turn into a sentencing hearing. The judge was overbooked, so she found another judge who then said she didn't do sentencing on demand. Michelle spoke with the judge and convinced her that this was the right thing to do. It saved me another court date and another round trip ticket and all the other expenses that go along with that. Michelle was articulate, cunning and aggressive. I was so relieved to have it all be finished. I was so happy with her standing by my side and pushing all the way, never giving up. Thank you Michelle!
