A Lawyer you can trust

Todd handled my family law case professionally and helped me handle it with grace also. This man helped get me out of my resentment and focus on the bigger picture..my children and our future. Not everyone can handle a divorce, and blames attorneys for their situation, but Todd treated me like I wa...s his most important client, resolved the case efficiently, and worked hard for me and my family. Worth every penny.

A True Legal "All Star"!

After I was served with a divorce petition in June 2012, I had to find a lawyer fast. Luckily for me, there was a lawyer who grew up right around the corner from me in Upstate New York: Todd C. Burnham. I look for lawyers who have the mental toughness and "thick skin" to help settle acrimonious case...s like mine. Usually, you can save time and look no further than the sports arena (Nick Buoniconti ring a bell (Steelers)? Todd played his best sports game at Hobart College, getting two NCAA personal titles in the process. Todd's "got game" in the legal arena, as well. From Day One, he patiently listened to my rants, gave me the best advice in a "long term" solution, and was blunt and to the point when he needed to be. Throughout the process, when the acrimony became too thick to send a lacrosse ball through, Todd was the calming, guiding hand that led me to an acceptable solution. Usually, clients don't like their lawyers. Not Todd. He charged a fair price, was totally up-front and honest with me, and looked after my best interests when up against the other party's "shark." I consider him a friend. He is definitely a man of integrity that can be counted on to give you a solid "game plan" out of his legal "playbook," and will coach you to a (not necessarily painless, but fair) divorce settlement. This college "statesman" graduated in Geneva (New York); who better to successfully negotiate your settlement? Hire Todd Burnham!

Amazing Attorney

Todd handled my post-divorce matter with precision and expertise. Every issue, every challenge was met with the highest degree of professionalism and knowledge. My husband's attorney continued to try to steer everything away from the real issues and Todd would have none of it. He is a lawyer that ...tries to reach a negotiated resolution, which saves money, but definitely knows when and how to go in a different direction. He was amazing.

Above and Beyond

After about 20 minutes of discussion, Todd thoroughly understood my case and knew where it was going to go, and what the most straightforward path to settlement would be. The only reason it took 6+ months to resolve is because my ex- wanted a fight. ...but Todd didn't fall into that trap. He was... a fierce advocate in the ring, and kept pushing the other attorney to work together to resolve the case, so we could get on with our lives, and our kids' lives could start to return to normal. Todd is a strategist and an advocate. When he took on my case he took a great personal interest in it. He really wanted to make sure we had a successful outcome! I never felt like I was just another client; I always felt like he had a very personal interest in getting a good outcome for me and my kids. Whether through email, text, phone calls or in-person, I always knew where things stood. He'll tell you straight-up where things are and what needs to happen to get what you want. And this guy will KILL himself to make sure you get the best possible defense for your case. I can't recommend him strongly enough. If you need a strong defender who can play offense and defense, or you feel like your back is against the wall and you need a champion, Todd is your guy. he'll tell you straight up what needs to be done, with no BS. I talked to a bunch of attorneys before picking Todd and his firm, and I never doubted my choice. I think you're wasting your time if you go with someone else.

Professional

Todd is the consummate professional in all our interactions.He was attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, and extremely competent. I knew I would be in good hands under his legal guidance. He came highly recommended for his ethics and integrity and I can say I was not disappointed. Throughout our divor...ce mediation proceedings, he always kept me informed, stayed on top of all relevant issues, presented my concerns and interests in a respectful manner, yet with conviction. Mr. Burnham worked diligently for an outcome that would be most beneficial for my future and his calm, professional demeanor on many occasions kept the burden of stress from overwhelming me. I can't say enough about his competence. I respected his judgment, opinions, and his unwavering persistence in ensuring that I would be given a fair and equitable resolution in my settlement. I would definitely recommend him. I found Mr. Burnham to be very responsive to phone calls, emails or text. I am still amazed at times how fast he was able to proceed with the process. I filed in March of 2012 and the divorce was final in July 2012! Yay thank you Todd!
